Au Lac Legend Hotel

Ett av mina favorithotell i Ho Chi Minh-staden, och det var en fantastisk upplevelse från början till slut. Servicen från all personal var enastående – alla var vänliga, uppmärksamma och alltid redo att hjälpa till med ett leende. Från det ögonblick jag anlände kände jag mig varmt välkommen och väl omhändertagen. Själva hotellet är mycket bekvämt beläget. Det ligger inom gångavstånd från många populära turistattraktioner, butiker, kaféer och restauranger. Oavsett om du ska till Ben Thanh-marknaden, Krigsminnesmuseet eller bara promenerar runt i stadens centrum, är allt lättillgängligt utan behov av taxi eller Grab. Rummet var rent, bekvämt och välutrustat med allt jag behövde för en trevlig vistelse. Jag njöt också verkligen av frukosten varje morgon – den erbjöd ett bra utbud av både lokala och internationella alternativ, allt färskt och utsökt. Det som stack ut mest för mig var personalens omsorg och gästfrihet. Det gjorde stor skillnad och bidrog till en verkligt trevlig vistelse. Jag skulle definitivt rekommendera detta hotell till alla som besöker Ho Chi Minh-staden och ser fram emot att bo här igen i framtiden.

Hotel staff were friendly, well-mannered, and professional in their service. Room cleaning staff were helpful and cleaned our room everyday, even if we put the "Do Not Disturb" sign on our door. Room service was very easy and help was always provided very fast. The shower was great, easy to use, and always very clean. However, the hotel room is always a bit dusty, especially the window blinds and the bedside drawers. The pool could also be cleaned more regularly, as there are dirt particles floating around. The biggest pain point for us was that the food could be so much better! The afternoon tea was very bad and we only ate there once on our first day. I think you can serve fresh vegetable spring rolls as snacks instead of the ham bread, which was as dry as a rock. Most of the tea buffet provided were not edible. The breakfast was average too - we opted to eat outside at the banh mi carts and noodle carts, which tasted much better. I wish you can work together with some of these sellers to provide good local breakfast or afternoon tea. Besides that, the best point about Au Lac (other than the excellent service staff) is really the location. We never had to travel more than 15 minutes to any popular tourist location or shopping mall. We were so close to District 1 that our days were always fun and enjoyable to travel around. We really appreciated the central location so much. Overall, our stay at Au Lac was good.
