California Hotel Saigon & Rooftop Pool recensioner

The location is very convenient to tourists as it is near the Ben Thanh Market and also a lot of famous food establishment in walking distance. The room needs a good vacuum since it is carpeted.

This hotel is very nearby to City Center. Most of the main attractions are walking distance of maximum 15-20 minutes walk. You will save money in transportation for visiting all these places. Hotel is quite clean and nice. Visit the roof top swimming pool and spa. Eat healthy Vietnamese food at the level 1 You can even exchange money at the counter with a better rate than the market rates.

Service was excellent 👍 Booked only a few days before arrival thus quite expensive

Near ben thanh n easy to get taxi and is abt 40mins to airport w traffic . Pleasant stay...

This was my second hotel in Saigon. Amazing location. The room is a little outdated but big enough and clean. I got a great deal on trip.com and am very satisfied. The gym has 2 bench press, dumbells, running machine, and cycling. Good enough for light workout. The rooftop pool is small, but the lounge area is large. It also has small bar opens until 10 pm. I highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is near to Ben Thanh market n many tour agencies. Because of this, we managed to book a local tour. One of the main attractions for my booking this hotel is because of the swimming pool. It looked deceptively big in the hotel photo but actually it’s very small. I thought that it should be a reasonably big one because of its 4-star status. The steps to the rooftop pool are made of granite, hence they’re slippery n waiting for a fall to happen, I guess.

I had an absolutely fantastic experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. Check-in was smooth and efficient, and I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and comfort of my room. The room itself was spacious, well-maintained, and beautifully decorated. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and I appreciated the thoughtful touches like complimentary bottled water, quality toiletries. The hotel also boasts excellent amenities, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. Overall, It exceeded my expectations in every way. I would gladly stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and great hospitality.

Space and Clean room, have window, I have kid and the Manager prefer for us a toilet sitting for child. Excellent service, will come back

It is very nice for a single traveller who is willing to have a short Staycation.

Room was basic and all we needed for the night, kids loved the pool and breakfast was good too. 👍

Location is excellent with only a couple of minutes by walk to BT Market. There are also handy comfort leisure food restaurants with reasonable prices. the Independant Palace is just round the corner within 10-minute walk. Other amenities such as the Old Post Office, War Museum, good dining eateries in surrounding area are also within comfortable walking distances. Rooftop pool is pretty tiny and clean good enough for kids soaking for fun. Room is pretty tidy, and cleaning ladies are friendly. Breakfast is reasonably good, but I prefer to have more selection of fresh fruits (fresh fruits are plenty and cheap in Vietnam in all seasons). The lady who serves fried eggs always bearing sweet smiles and do her job to customers satisfaction I can see. Coffee is not that great (I prefer having my morning glory sip on the street). Front desk personnel have been very helpful in keeping the lobby comfortable for short break or waiting for pick-ups to / from

It is a fantastic hotel located in the heart of Saigon city. The hotel has been recently fully renovated. So it looks brand new. The room was also very nice with all basic amenities. Overall it's a great option to stay for all types of travellers.
