Travelodge Hotel Hobart recensioner

Good location, walk to the Brook St Pier and the city center. The room is decent sized, nice touch with microwave. You don't require key card to get to your floor. Would feel safer if they require key card to access to the floor. Breakfast is ok.

The hotel is close to the CBD and all other places eg salamanca markets, and pier. In terms of hotel, clean, made bed daily, amenities , no pool , fitness is small, room small, wish was larger, walls are thin, could hear the next room. But all over good.

Do not stay at this hotel. The walls are paper thin, so you hear EVERYTHING—yes, EVERYTHING, if you know what I mean. The whole setup is bizarre (see photo). Who thought it was a good idea to cram the sink so close to the toilet that your elbow brushes it? Who looked at that and thought, "Yeah, that’s totally normal and not awkward at all"? The carpet feels soooo dirty, and it’s ridiculous they don’t provide slippers. Actually, they do—but only if you’re willing to pay $6! Oh, and add another $5 for service fee! On top of that, when I asked about why the water in the shower was lukewarm, and the response I got was that it’s because the hotel was at full capacity. How exactly is that my problem?! The receptionist told me to run the water for 10 minutes to "fix" it… 10 minutes? Really? What happened to being eco-friendly? Honestly, save your money and book somewhere else. It’s incredibly noisy, and you won’t get a peaceful night's sleep here. If I could give this place zero stars, I would. The only redeeming qualities are the fitness center, location and the helpful and very nice staff.

We enjoy our short stay in this hotel. The location is great close to everything shops, restaurants and cafe. Staff were all accommodating and friendly. The room is clean however there is a smell as we enter the room every time. Opening the window helps a bit, otherwise everything is good.

Good experience. The concierge was very accommodating! Simple breakfast but it gives you what you need. Nice people.

Probably the best value stay I've had in Australia. Rooms clean, comfortable and quiet. Easy walk down to the harbour and Salamanca. Friendly staff. Breakfast is great for the low cost. The basic, but done just right. Thanks.

Very good location. Hotel is within walking distance to the Hobart waterfront, Salamanca market, cafes and restaurants. Pricing is also very reasonable and services from the reception area was very good. Overall it was a pleasant stay and I would come back and stay here again if I am in Hobart.

The hotel’s location is perfect for single travelers with lots of eateries nearby, and the station of Skybus express to and from airport is just 1-2 minutes walk in Colin Street. The reception service is good and no problem for a late check out for me as my flight is in the evening.

The room and bathroom is small. The shower head is fixed which means difficult to control the water flow and cold water will flow out when you go inside. The WiFi connection is not stable. The only good thing is that the laundry facilities is good. Breakfast is normal with limited choice. The price is quite high and not value for money.

Extended my stay here for two nights. Great location, super helpful staff and tasty breakfast. Would stay again.

The location is quite good. Room size is ok for 3 persons. There is no phone for you to call for any hotel service, anything you need will need to go straight to the reception for request.
