Argyle Accommodation

We stayed here with our dog stay when we were cold and tired after travelling all day. It has been one of the fondest things we remember from out trip to Tassie. Clean basic rooms but central to Hobart's shopping district. Most importantly the owner has a studio room that is pet friendly. Continental breakfast is also provided. It is also directly opposite the hospital and a great place for patients visitors to stay. The owner and staff are friendly and approachable. Excellent communicators. We thank the owner for taking us in that very cold night in Hobart. The only reason for not giving this place 5 stars is just there is no parking. However you can pay for a parking station down the road but it can work out quite expensive (on top of the$150 a night rate that we had to pay). We see here that the rate is cheaper. If it was cheaper at the time we stayed we probably would have stayed longer.

The Queen rooms are quite small only enough room for a bed and bedside tables. The accommodation is nice apart from the shared bathrooms kitchen and fridge. There is also a key pad door locking system from the street and into your rooms which might be tricky for some people. There Is no parking facilities however the Woolworths parking is next door to the accommodation at roughly $25 over night There's a range of dine in or take away restraunts nearby. That's being said I would not be coming here with a family or with my partner. Because there has been a male guest waiting for females to come out of the bathroom. Of course that perosn may not be here when you choose to visit but there are many others like that and I think you would be more comfortable in accommodation that you have your own kitchen fridge toilet and bath room facilities.

Great value family accommodation in the heart of the CBD. The room was spacious and clean. We had our own bathroom and even our own balcony. We stayed in Studio one. Own coffee machine with pods provided. Breakfast was provided. We could walk to a lot of the sites. We were there over the weekend, so found free street parking. There is also free street parking overnight. Would definitely stay again.

Located in the Hobart CBD, I stayed in a King room. More than enough space for what I needed. Staff are super friendly and nothing seems to be too much trouble regardless of how busy they are. The whole place is immaculately clean. Looks as though it has had a recent makeover with quality bathroom and other fittings.
