Wonderful stay, great staf. This place is a piece of heaven on earth. We found new friends and great people. Our ranger Sabre, her explanations about nature and wildlife, about this beautiful place called Kruger, all the animal that we saw, it was an amazing experience. Also Preatty and all the staf at the lodge, fantastic! They make you feel at home. I left with tears in my eyes and as soon as it is possible, I will be back! Thank you Tomo for a unforgettable holiday!

We had an amazing stay at Tomo! The entire staff were fantastic and very attentive to our needs. Rooms were spacious and clean and food was delicious! The weather wasn’t too great which meant we couldn’t see as many animals. But the tour guides kept us entertained and we learned a lot about the wild animals. We have really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend for those looking for a relaxing stay!

A small intimate lodge with a maximum of 18 guests. I stayed in one of the superior suites, each a beautiful double room, with en-suite bathroom, private outdoor patio and outdoor shower immersed in the African bush. Meals on the deck overlooking the waterhole in front of the lodge, framed by the Drakensberg in the distance, was an exceptional experience. Being on a smaller reserve allows a more individualized safari, even being able to enjoy our traditional sundowner drink on the safari vehicle next to lazy lions as the sun set behind them over Mariepskop - a sighting that will be hard to forget. Enjoyed 2 outstanding safaris, under the expert guidance of Gareth, whose skill and understanding of the animals and care for his guests, made these 2 drives amongst the best I have ever been on. Do hope I get to return again & again

Everything on our stay was wonderful! The staff extremely friendly and doing their best to make us comfortable and enjoy. The food was amazing, the rooms very cozy and the game drives were perfect, on two of them we had already seen the big five.

My wife and I had a fantastic stay at Tomo Lodge just before Christmas. We thoroughly enjoyed the game drive under the expert guidance of Gareth. The food was fantastic and the hospitality of the staff unsurpassed. The accommodation is beautiful. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and hope to return for another visit. We had an awesome time at Tomo Safari Lodge. The staff is extremely friendly and caring, the food was super delicious. We loved our beautiful room with an outdoor shower. The whole lodge is very cozy and has a great outdoor area where you can have food, drinks or just relax and watch the animals that come across sometimes. Furthermore, we had great game drives with Josh who is a very experienced, sympathetic and adapted well to our wishes. I have rarely been on vacation in such a beautiful place and would come back anytime. A wholehearted recommendation, nothing was missing.

Our experience at Tomo Safari Lodge surpassed all expectations. Their attention to detail made our stay there so special. Every day upon our return from the game drive we were welcomed with cool cloths and drinks, which was just what we needed. We were also celebrating our belated 40th wedding anniversary and the staff went over and above - we had chilled champagne waiting for us in our room on our last evening, along with a perfect temperature bath full of petals and bath salts. Our bed was also decorated and we were given a hand written card - the occasion was made so special for us, something we’ll never forget. We also had the most knowledgeable, friendly and caring guide - Gareth, we all agreed that he was outstanding and we couldn’t have been happier or more impressed with his knowledge and guidance. We would recommend a stay at Tomo Safari Lodge to everyone.

What an amazing time we had. Tomo Safari Lodge surpassed all our expectations, from the cleanliness of the rooms to the quality of the food. The game drives were superb (even though we didn't get the big 5), the staff were beyond attentive and we would come back in a heartbeat. Loved it

Unbelievable experience at Tomo Safari Lodge. Every single member of staff went above and beyond to make our stay special. From Conny & Marco to the chefs and house keeping staff, they couldn’t do enough for us. Accommodation was great. Keegan was our guide for the drives and he was super knowledgeable, friendly and fun. We were lucky enough to see 4 of the big 5. Plus we saw leopards every day of our stay.. but our favourite was definitely the African wild dogs! The rules around number of cars/people in the vicinity of animals makes it a much more intimate experience and much better for the animals too. We’ll be recommending Tomo to everyone.
