Khaya Ndlovu Safari Manor

Our group of 11 friends, some new to safari experience were thrilled with the beauty of Manor House, the history and informative decor. The look out from the communal area was gorgeous! Seeing animals at the watering hole was so exciting. The staff were SO engaged and helpful at all times. We loved the boma experience laid on for us. African hospitality at its best. We all want to return soon!

We held our wedding at Khaya Ndlovu and it could not have gone better. Kirst and Emma for phenomenal in working with us to help bring our ideas to life, working tirelessly to make sure that everything went smoothly and working closely with DROOM who we brought in to help with decoration and for coordinating on the day (Anelle and her team were excellent as well!). The wedding party stayed at Khaya (we booked out the whole place for and had 23 people staying). The rooms were lovely - very comfortable, full of charm and very clean. The staff were incredibly friendly, and we were touched by Lily writing a congratulations message on our bed in confetti on the wedding night. Our ceremony was out in the bush under the marula tree that Sammy (one of the guides) had shown us. The team, along with the DROOM, really dressed up the area beautifully for the cermony. Kirst organised 4 game vehicles to ferry the guests to and from the location. The food throughout our stay was exceptional. The eggs benedict was incredible and perfect for sore heads. The food on the night was exceptional, including some of the most perfectly cooked steak. The staff helping with the serving were exceptional, bringing so much joy to the occassion - special shout out to Selby's dance moves! I could go on and on about how incredible our experience was, but I'll just finish with a huge thank you to Kirst, Emma and the rest of the team for everything. We had the best time which surpassed all expectations. We will definitely be back next time we are passing through Hoedspruit!

We had the best 3 nights at Khaya Ndlovu! The staff were amazing - the chef, lodge team, and cleaner all went above and beyond. Our guides Aggie and Vusi were fantastic, finding the Big 5 and making every drive fun. Stunning views of the watering hole with new wildlife every day. Couldn’t fault a thing - 5 stars from our family!

I had an amazing visit.I was here to celebrate a milestone bday. The staff made this celebration extra special all day long. Food was very good (esp boma), game drives were amazing and massages were divine. Overall, stay was excellent. Will definitely come back again

I didn't stay here but did a sunrise game drive with the amazing Terrence. Arriving at 5am in the pitch dark and seeing sunrise from the jeep was stunning. But the rest of the drive was even better. In 3 hours we saw sooo much it was staggering. Giraffe, zebra, rhino, cheetah, lions etc. and all before work! Terrence is an amazing guide and this trip is unbelievably good value. I did a couple of game drives while in Hoedspruit and this one is far and away the best. Don't think about it, just book

We had a very memorable stay at Khaya Ndlovu Safari Manor. Right from the moment we arrived the staff could not have been more welcoming or friendly. I wasn’t feeling well but after a few hours in my incredibly comfortable bed I felt rested and restored. We were travelling with a one year old, and by the end of our six days all the staff knew her, were so very kind, and cooked her some great healthy meals. If you are a family travelling I highly recommend rooms one, two snd three in the manor house. It’s a three bedroom wing with a long wide entrance area which was also for our sole use and perfect for the one year old to play and crawl around in. All our meals were delicious, and the brai night was a real treat. We were amazed at all the game we saw so close to Hoedspruit and we experienced some wonderful sightings. Most visitors don’t stay six days but we really loved our time, some days just relaxing by the pool or looking over to the waterhole, drink in hand, in front of the bar and restaurant which had many animals visit. Advise and Kirsten were incredibly helpful organising all our transfers and a visit to the animal rehabilitation centre. Our washing was beautifully done and I must add Khaya Ndlovu is excellent value for money. We were very sad to leave and plan to come back for sure. Highly recommend for family’s or any mix of people.
