This is a lovely place . We had booked in for one night but needed to have my elderly father staying with us instead of him staying at other relatives. This was due to him having had a fall earlier in the week . Richard sorted out alternative rooms with no problems. Rooms were very clean lovely soft towels and comfy bed . Breakfast freshly cooked and as much as you could eat . The hosts very friendly couldn’t do enough for you . Would definitely stay again thank you ! And the music festival was brill !

I absolutely loved the ambience of this lovely old hotel. Rich blues, stunning wallpapers, an eclectic mix of interesting paraphernalia adorning the dining room made it a pleasure to behold. Staff were super friendly and chatty and even allowed me a complimentary continental breakfast because I hadn’t booked a b&b. I only stayed one night but the divinely comfy bed I’ll remember for long after. I’ll try and find a reason to return to Holbeach so I can come again. Thankyou!

Excellent stay at the Mansion House. We were in one of the dog friendly rooms. The decor is fabulous, bedding and furnishings were sumptuous and beautiful. Sam was so friendly and helpful. Everything was spotless. Very nice stay. We will be back to try the breakfast X

We had a three night stay in one of the Old Post Office apartments and thoroughly enjoyed it. So nice to able to stay all together as a family with the added bonus of being able to bring our little dog. The apartment was spacious, spotlessly clean and nicely furnished with everything you could need. A great central location, ample free parking and the hosts Sam & Richard are friendly, helpful and very efficient. Would highly recommend and will definitely go back again.

Spent two nights there last weekend Absolutely fantastic place to stay It’s so different from your normal B@B Owners are so helpful nothing is to much trouble for them Lovely room great breakfast And a real choice But you must try the full English And last but not least easy free parking If you are up this way don’t miss this gem We will return asap

What a fabulous weekend we had! Welcomed by the lovely hosts Sam & Richard! They were just so accommodating & helpful. The whole set up is wonderfully quirky & full of love & attention. We stayed in mouse hole cottage, very well equipped & comfy! Felt very at home! The breakfast was amazing! There was everything!!! Beautifully cooked breakfast! Best poached eggs! We didn’t eat until the evening as it was so filling & yummy! We ate alfresco one morning, with it all set up ready for us, then dinned in the second morning in the giro breakfast room, full of interest & memorabilia! Would highly recommend!! Thanks for a fab stay, really enjoyed chatting to you both. X

Really great hotel, stayed here twice now and will definitely be back again. Rooms are great. Breakfast 10 out of 10. Owners are really friendly and nothing to much for them. Really make you feel at home during your stay. Thanks for a great stay. Regards Dave and Tracy xx.

We booked this fairly late on due to a change of plans. This rating is based on the value for money. For what was a fairly basic and tired looking room without breakfast included, I thought it was very overpriced.

Our group of 17 Blokes were looking for a 4 night stay near Holbeach for our Annual Charity Bike Ride . So Glad we were accepted by Richard and Sam, owners of The Mansion House Hotel , Holbeach . Hotel is superb . Fantastic Rooms .Comfortable beds , Excellent Breakfast . Cottage in rear courtyard . Seating area in courtyard for that late night take away or Beer . Parking . Really couldn’t do enough for us . If Richard and Sam can keep our 17 blokes happy , then they may something right 👍 Definitely recommend staying here 👍
