Mis Sueños Holbox

It’s taken me longer than I would’ve liked to write this review as I was and still am very traumatised by what happened and I would really like the owners of the hotel to contact me. I stayed here beginning of May with a couple of friends and on our second to last night the manager insisted on cooking us dinner as he said it was something he wanted to try out with guests of the hotel who stay longer than a couple of days. Him and a woman made us food and he made us cocktails. We invited him to sit after the meal as we thought he was really sweet and had been super helpful throughout our stay. After 30 minutes or so me and my friends went to our rooms. I then woke up to the hotel manager in my room, he was touching me. He said the door was open ( I’m very sure it wasn’t, I checked it before I went to sleep but the lock on the door of that particular room was faulty and didn’t have a double lock which is maybe why he placed me in that room? ) and he had brought me a cocktail, when I said no to the drink he said he was really good at massages and asked if I wanted one. I said no thank you, he left the room and I ran up to the room my friends were staying in. I was hysterical obviously and terrified. We then booked another hotel for our last night and I slept in the room with them. I wasn’t quite sure what else to do about this other than the review as I imagine he has access to the hotel email etc

The hotel was cute and the staff was very friendly and helpful. However, the hotel was under construction and it was noisy during the day and you could not relax since the workers would be walking back and forth. The pool would get dirty, and should be clean often. The beach is about six blocks away and it’s far of a walk.

Fue una experiencia acogedora. Fuimos en compañía de la familia de mi mejor amigo, durante 3 noches y 4 días. El hotel está ubicado en la parte izquierda del muelle de ferrys, a 650 mts. de la playa Holbox (la más conocida). En cuanto a ubicación, es un hotel que está "apartado" del pueblo, las calles principales y la playa. Sin embargo, el gerente nos apoyaba en pedir los taxis de la zona. Ahora, refiriéndome a la estructura del hotel, es un hotel boutique de 17 habitaciones (si mi memoria no me falla). Su piscina es chica, con 1.10 mts de profundidad, apto para toda la familia y niños. El interior de las habitaciones son rústicas y acogedoras, combina la madera y concreto con detalles/dibujos simbólicos de la isla. El agua de la regadera era fría, tenía un mesa pegada a la pared, una televisión, cortinas para dar privacidad, percheros y mucho más. La limpieza de las habitaciones siempre estaba en optimas condiciones (cama, piso, baño). Nuestra reserva vino con el desayuno (de 8 a.m. a 10 a.m.) en donde te ofrecían 4 tipos de platillos, sencillos pero deliciosos. Si querías algo adicional, tienen un costo extra. Además de tener camastros y hamacas, tenían una zona para hacer cafés al gusto y un microondas cerca del área de piscina. Es una zona amplia para poder reunirte y pasar un tiempo de ocio en la zona de piscina. De tantos hoteles boutique en la zona, Mis Sueños es la opción ideal para pasar tiempo de ocio con familia y amigos. Contemplan todas las inquietudes y necesidades que puedan surgir por parte del huésped.
