Best Western Arizonian Inn

Spent one night, the reception staff were pleasant and welcoming. The automated on screen welcome was odd and totally unnecessary. The rooms are large, bed comfortable with lovely white sheets. The decor is dated but it ads a little charm. However given our room was booked months ago we wee unimpressed by the stairs were under reconstruction. The breakfast was tasty.

Nice clean hotel for a reasonable price. All the Staff was very friendly. I interacted with front desk, maintenance man, and breakfast lady. Breakfast had many options. Room was much cleaner than most hotels that I have stayed in. Located close to Petrified Forest National Park.

My husband and I spent one night here while on a road trip so we could visit the nearby Painted Desert and Petrified Wood national park. We're long time Best Western rewards members, and expect them to be pretty decent. None of the hotels in town had very good reviews on TA, so I chose this one with the hope it would be ok for one night. Check in was friendly and efficient...they even have a robot type machine with a remote person who can check you in, which was interesting. We were given a king room on the first floor, as requested, because there is no elevator to the 2nd floor. When we opened the door to our room, a strong perfume spray smell hit our noses. We almost asked for another room, but tried leaving the door and windows open to air it out. We think the previous guest probably smoked in this clearly marked "nonsmoking" room so housekeepers were trying to cover it up. It took about an hour before the smell disappated. The room was spacious, but in dire need of updating. The dark, dirty looking carpet was wrinkled in places, and the whole room had a dreary dark appearance with dated decor. The pullout loveseat had a stretchy cover over the cushions covering something (I didn't look), and there were some small food spills on the armrest. There were a few positives: the platform bed had attractive bedding, there were 2 luggage racks in the room, and the AC and WiFi worked well. There was a small fridge, microwave and coffee maker. On the not so good side: There were limited plugins. The bathroom door didn't close all the way because the door hinges were crooked, and it hit the curved shower curtain rod when open. The bed turned out to be ok and fairly comfortable. Considering the rooms all open to the parking lot, it was relatively quiet until morning when people were moving around outside. The free breakfast bar had a decent selection of hot and cold foods, and a very friendly helpful staff person managing it. If ever in this area again we would definitely not stay here, and would find somewhere else that's hopefully newer and better maintained. I did send a report to Best Western so hopefully they'll pay some attention to this property and raise the standards for future unsuspecting guests. Even with my AARP/Senior discount, the price we paid wasn't worth it.

The Best Western in Holbrook is clean and comfortable. It has rooms that have outside entry. It was nice being able to park and unload in front of our room. There were no issues with safety there. They had a great breakfast with hot and cold choices! The breakfast area was clean and staffed with an attendant. We had no problems with our stay there.

Very comfortable and super friendly staff. Clean room and great area for walking dogs. I’d recommend this is you are looking for safe stop on the interstate. The staff was so incredibly friendly and helpful made it a pleasant stop. The breakfast was very good. Lots of options and fresh

Charles, at the front desk, made sure we had a ground floor room as the stairs were an issue. The bed was comfy and the hotel was fairly quiet though a little busy. Breakfast was fine and they had good "add ons" for bowls of oatmeal. Only downside is you'd better be down for breakfast early as they lock the room at 9:00 am and basically kick you out which is unusual for a Best Western where breakfast room stays open all day even if they clear the food. I wanted an extra 20 minutes to finish my coffee and write a postcard, but I was asked to leave! And if you want dinner you are going to have to drive quite a few traffic lights down the road; looks like they had a Denny's next door, but it was out of business.

First, I would avoid the Holbrook area altogether. Driving into the entrances of many of the lodgings, this Best Western probably felt like it was the safest ones, and that isn't saying much. It has outside doors and while the room was clean, it clearly hasn't been updated in quite a while and has obviously been painted over in places where there has been damage done to the walls and doors. I felt the $120+ price to be outrageous and you had to use your room key to get ice. I'll pass the next time.

This place is great I have traveled the U.S, on business for the last 20+ years and stayed in A LOT of hotels. This is the first time ever there were two luggage racks in a double bedded room. Room was spacious and well organized. Don't expect the Ritz but super comfy beds, extremely clean and quiet. Had a great night's sleep

Beautiful large room w/ King bed. Nice updates in the bathroom. Very helpful staff at check-in & in the Breakfast room. We would definitely stay there again. Dairy Queen just 4 miles down the road. Plenty of parking. Loved the Ice Machine that only works w/ your room key!!
