Hotel is nice, friendly staff. They do have a bar. I wish the drinks were served in glass and not plastic cups especially for the price you pay. The rooms are very nice as well. Just don’t stay on the first floor. All we heard all night was the ice machine and the kitchen stuff beeping. But overall a good stay.

There are some good things about this hotel. It is away from the other hotels a bit and it is NOT pet friendly. Those are good points. And I've always liked Springhill Suites before. However, it used to be a reasonably priced overnight stay and this time, it was no longer a budget hotel. So, it's average for the current price. If it's down $30 or $40 from the current prices, it would be a top-tier place.

Check in was wonderful! The two ladies at the front desk weee kind and professional and had a great sense of humor. The hotel and rooms are beautiful. The pool and fitness center look nice but we didn’t plan a stop so don’t have what we need to use those facilities. I would stay here again.

We use Marriott weekly for our business and are always happy. However DO NOT use this location. Malicious and extremely unprofessional business practice by the GM, horrible experience. This location does not deserve your business in my opinion! First review I’ve given in years maybe ever but felt I had to warn people.

Newer property, spacious rooms, good ventilation in bathrooms and streaming TVs. Staff was nice enough, the all day coffee is actually really good coffee!! The complimentary breakfast was nice touch, had all the essentials. Nice access to Roanoke, about 12 minutes to downtown and 15 to the Parkway.

My husband is a Bonvoy Platinum member; I am a gold member. In other words, we stay at many Marriott hotels and have always been treated respectfully and professionally. Not so at this new hotel, where my husband (tired from a day-long trip) was refused his check-in — despite having a confirmed reservation. The problem? Only my name was on the reservation, not his. No manager on duty!!! No way to edit the reservation online (as it was “in progress”). It took a full hour on the phone and a final call to the national reservation center to let my husband into his room. This kind of overbearing, uncooperative behavior in (of all industries) the hospitality sector is unbelievable and certainly unique for an otherwise reliably welcoming and reputable hotel chain. Never again!

This hotel is PRISTINE!! It was literally spotless. Very modern look and feel. The bathroom is so luxurious and modern, even the mirror has an anti fog button. Beds and pillows were comfortable. They even had a spare toothbrush and razor at the front desk.
