Zimmer sehr schön und sauber
Können wir sehr empfehlen um sich die Gegend um den Fisch River Canyon anzuschauen

Plain. Boring. Just like any standard hotel that business travelers might stay in. Not an African experience place. Like all Gondwana properties - decent enough rooms but, at best, below average service. Marginal food. Guide was a nice person but had no idea what she was doing or what type of wildlife was around. She said she couldn't find any Mountain Zebras - our driver had located four of them from the road! As I said in another review, we should have stayed at Alte Kalkofen Lodge and just done a day trip to the Canyon.

What an eclectic place to find the "middle of nowhere" although that does apply to most of Namibia. Excellent facilities, good wifi (very important), areas in which to sit and relax and an above ground (yes) pool. Super place to stay. Very large camping area. The only thing we thought was that the camping area could be improved by having some sort of screening to reduce the amount of sand getting in your food when self catering

Well equipped campsite - each one has water (suitable for washing dishes and a BBQ place. Even though the distance between the campsites is not that big, it still feels cozy and quiet. There are many curious birds around the campsites and other game animals in the area. One of the nights we were near the pool and there were several oryxes passing by.

Camping places are big, bathrooms are clean and with hot water. Each camping place has a lamp and barbecue spot. The receptionist was not very nice (just didn't want to bother with us) but overall experience is very good. I could come back. There is also bar/restaurant and lodges.

The reception and grounds are great fun. Full of old vehicles machinery etc. The staff are super friendly and helpful The room..... you could have played tennis on the bed the mattress was so hard!!!! To plug the kettle in (or your phone charger) you had to move bedside table and unplug light. The socket other side was behind the bed. No other sockets in room. One in the bathroom. Shower pressure poor. Power points out by undercover parking great idea. Meant we could leave freezer in car overnight Breakfast was good. Found main meal menu uninspiring so had a fab dinner at sister hotel Canyon Lodge

A fun and quirky place to stay, with a roadhouse theme. Our room was nicely decorated, with a modern bathroom. The food in the restaurant was good. It is very conveniently situated for visited Fish River Canyon and it is also possible to buy petrol here.

As frequent travellers to Gondwana Establishments , this too delivers to the expectation. We loved the old road house theme. rooms were comfortable and Air-conditioned. Need this time of the year in Namibia. Food was great with sizeable portions and super friendly staff. if in the area , I do recommend a night or two there. Recommendation mini fridges in rooms and ceiling fans in main building

We stayed at the sister lodge Canyon Village but came here for lunch and to get our tire repaired who went bad again just 5 km before their driveway. Lovely food, lovely service, and the atmosphere is unique
