Le Jardin d'Homps

We had a really lovely stay here (sadly only 1 night) while cycling the Canal du Midi. Everything was perfect - a wonderful, warm welcome, garage for bikes, refreshing pool, location, garden. Really big, comfortable rooms. I would come back to the region just to stay again. Oh and the breakfast - wow!

Excellent hosts, lovely and large rooms with a pool and balcony. The hosts Gerda and Thomas , and their daughter made us feel very welcome during our stay. We stayed 2 nights. Not only did they provide an excellent breakfast but they also suggested the local restaurants to eat at and the local sights to visit. The weather was very warm so the pool was very welcome after cycling for a day. For us it was the highlight of our stay on the Canal du Midi and we have already recommended the hotel to friends and family. Homps may be tiny but Hotel d’Jardin and the hosts give the whole area a very special feel

Nice place to stay in a house of the « Fin de siècle » style. Very clean and spacious rooms. Warm welcome and hosts are very friendly and forthcoming. Breakfast is top quality with home made yogurt and delicious jams (although not home made). The croissants are served warm!

Excellent BnB with excellent hosts. We were absolutely stoked to discover after two days of cycling that Le Jardin dHomps was our accomodation for two nights. Our hosts could not do enough for us. From the ice cold flannel and welcome drink on arrival, the local dinner menus and recommendations …..nothing was too much. We would highly recommend this accomodation. We wish we had more time in Homps.

Absolutely perfect from the moment we arrived when we were given cold towels and a cold drink. Beautiful bright house and stunning pool. The hosts are so lovely, so welcoming and so helpful. They were happy to give advice on where to go in the local area. They had a selection of menus for local restaurants and made reservations for us. When we went to the pool they would give us a bottle of cold water to take. On the first evening when we were too tired to go out after a very early flight they gave us plates and cutlery in the garden to eat food we had bought from the supermarket. They could not do enough for us and wanted our stay to be perfect which it was. We stayed in 2 other places after this and neither compared in the slightest in terms of how welcome we felt. The breakfast was delicious too. Thank you for a lovely, relaxing stay in your beautiful house.

This is a wonderful place to spend the night. After a hard day's cycling courtesy of Relax Bike Tours we were greeted with a cold drink and an equally cold cloth to wipe the dust from our weary faces. The hospitality shown by Thomas and Gerda was perfect. Nothing was too much trouble and opinions of the local restaurants was welcomed. We had a fantastic stay and would go back on a heartbeat. If you are in the region this is a gem worth seeking out, the last word in old fashioned hospitality.
