California Hotel recensioner

We recently stayed at California Hotel and overall, I’d rate our experience a solid 9 out of 10. Here’s a breakdown of our experience: Pros: -Location: The location couldn’t be better. It’s incredibly convenient, with malls, shops, pharmacies, and a 7-Eleven all within walking distance. For transportation, the MTR station is right next to the hotel building, and there are also plenty of bus options nearby. -Staff: We appreciated seeing Filipino workers around, who were kind and helpful with local directions and tips, making our trip much smoother. -Front Desk: The front desk attendant spoke fluent English, so we were able to easily communicate and get our questions answered without any issues. -Housekeeping: Towels and tissues were replenished daily, and our room was kept clean throughout our stay. Cons: -Room Size and Storage: We understand that rooms in HK are generally on the smaller side, but we found ours manageable for the three of us (my sisters and me). However, it would be great if hotel supplies were stored elsewhere instead of under the beds, as that was the only space we had to stow our luggage. You can see in the photos that our bags are sticking out from under the beds. -Smoking Area: It would be a big improvement if the hotel could relocate the smoking areas, as we noticed that smoke odors sometimes seeped into the room, and even into the towels, which made them smell a bit smoky. Highly recommended, were satisfied with the hotel

Good for solo traveller if your are not so peeky.

Place and location ok. The only problem is the room have a hot shower.

bathroom too small, areas under the bed were dusty and used as storage for their files. Elevator was under repair during our stay had to use the exits which were so dirty.

Convenient place but the hygiene problem is terrify ❌❌❌❌❌❌

Strategic location for those who’d like to hit around town and HK island. Good service staff and friendly.

The night I arrived was a nightmare I was put into a tiny room the owner gave me attitude when I asked for another room . I wouldn’t recommend this hotel but it’s located in a good neighborhood . The shower and toilet its so small they all squeezed in together and the air conditioning system is dirty blows out dirty airflow.
