Hong Kong Budget Hostel recensioner

It’s cheap yes that’s true compared to what’s close to it . However I think they can do better when it comes to room cleaning and quality of the amenities. The road to the hostel is scary especially at night . The AC made so much noise at night even after you turn it off , it smelled as well . But it’s cheap and close to metro and bus stations.

I just want to say thankyou to ate sherre and sigh for accommodating my daughter..They are kind and very helpful..I loved to reccomend this hostel❤️❤️❤️

Location good near MTR & bus stop. Room is ok but the toilet very small difficult to seat

The room is clean, comfortable for 1 person ( actually I booked double room) ; very good location, convenient for bus, mtr....

The room are the worst, the bed sheet looks unclean they have stains even on the pillow. And the door don't have a double lock. It feels unsafe specially when you travelling alone. Will not recommend to stay there, nit worth a penny 😞

Best thing about this was the prompt room cleaning service provided by Kaci. Room is cleaned thoroughly. Only drawbacks were:1) the TVs do not work in Block D, 2)neither does the hairdryer in the room, but another is available outside in the hallway.3) Fridge for Germany hostel broke down (I booked HKBudget, but was given Germany) so had to use another on the 10th floor on Block D(Germany Hostel on Floor 6) which mean't walking up 4 flights of stairs which is good exercise if you don't want to wait for a lift. 4)Lifts are the worst part of staying at this hostel as they are crowded & take a long time to arrive. But on the bright side I hade a good view from the window, air conditioning was always working, hotwater was also good & you have a your own personal toilet/shower inside room. Lots of plugs to recharge as well. Bed was comfortable. Overall good value for money. Recommended!

One of the worst and considered nightmare in our hotel experience. The room assigned to us was not given in actual checkin. We were assisted by Indian nationals and they have gave us room E which is very small and dirty, CR is full of molds. Very dirty not safe for family

I understand that Hong Kong is a crowded city, but we didn’t expect our room to be this small. It’s suitable for backpackers or solo travelers who don’t mind tight spaces. However, for those with large luggage (like me and my friend), we had to take turns opening our suitcases because there simply wasn't enough room to do so at the same time. The location is convenient, situated within a busy city district. However, the building is surrounded by food stalls, mostly serving Asian cuisine—particularly Indian and Filipino food. If you're sensitive to strong spices, especially those common in Indian cooking, be prepared for the smell lingering around the area. During our stay, the room light went out because the bulb had burnt out, but to be fair, the staff replaced it quickly once we informed them. On our last night, the passkey to our room stopped working. We had to go back to the information desk—which is in Block D—only to be sent to Block C where our room was. It was a bit of a hassle, especially since the lifts were often crowded and slow. Also, there was no hot water in the shower on our second day. We didn’t report it as we were in a rush, but it was still inconvenient. Overall, it’s okay if you're on a tight budget and don’t mind very basic accommodations. Just keep in mind that hotel prices in Hong Kong can be quite expensive in general, so if you’re looking for more comfort or space, be prepared to pay significantly more at other places.

I booked on trip.com and paid everything. When I came there, they let me wait for 1 hour to...check in??m After that, they actually changed the room from the 10th floor to the 16th floor. I went to the 16th floor and I was told to come back to the 10th floor. They said they no longer had a room available. I mean, what is wrong with this hotel? I paid and I came and waited for an hour only to find out in the middle of the night that I couldn't stay. They did not refund my money. They said the platform (trip.com) will refund. However, this is not a refundable booking. I am very mad and I will report this hotel in all platforms.
