Mong Kok Hostel recensioner

If you are planning to mainly explore Hongkong and don’t mind the type of room then this hostel is is recommended. Location is superb, and very near to all transportation. Don’t expect the hostel to be super clean though, while it does provide with some necessities, it is recommended to bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste. It should also be noted that the reception and place of staying is in two different locations. The clerk was very good, you can be able to use Mandarin Chinese to communicate with him. Overall it was an interesting experience, and since we didn’t stay much time inside other than to sleep, I believe this can work with anyone else.

The price is very good compared to the cost of living in Hong Kong. It is located in the city center with many restaurants around. You can walk to any of them within 3 minutes including the Subway. The hotel staff were also nice and let us leave our luggage for free after checking out.

For the money ok. But it was terribly dirty. The toilet stank horribly, one could not stay there at daytime

It was so small. I couldn’t fit in in the cr. You will not have space for your bags. Better look for other accomodations

It was a great location. The cleanliness can be improved. The toilet has a water dripping from the celling.

Low price, expected very small room but good location close to MRT station. Very old building, hard to locate reception (level 11, lifts on the left once you enter building/mansion). Has aircon and private shower/toilet. Ok stay for price and small room expectations.

The hostel is located very central, close to the Metro station. However the room itself was in the 25th floor and very quiet. The hostel provided towels and hot drinking water.

Arrived after 16:00 to find the room not cleaned. Cleaning lady arrived, cleaned the room and I was able to go inside. The water dispenser had no room temperature/cold water so I had to wait for the water to cool before I could drink it. You have to pay $200 deposit 😅 for what 🤷🏽♀️, I don’t know. The room was tiny but it served its purpose. Spent 1 night only and would never go back.

The room is located along Nathan Road. Near to MTR Mongkok Station and bus stops. The hostel is inside a commercial building and located in 11th floor. Safe because the building is well-lit and no queue on the elevator. The hostel is also safe, there is a security lock not only in your room but at the entrance of the hostel so only guests and staff are allowed to enter. The room is very clean and complete with all the basic things you 'll need like very cold aircon, hot and cold shower, toiletries, slippers, kettle with cups and built-in electric sockets (no need to buy adaptor). They also allow you you to leave your luggages after your check out time for free. Thanks Mongkok Hostel.
