Tai O Inn, by the Sea

I was there for only a night to experience Tai O and to stay close by the sea. The views were pretty good and nice vibes of a village by the sea. The inn has a rustic feel while it is in the middle of other residential homes. The owner was very friendly and provided good support via phone messaging. However, food can be rather expensive and limited, including other amenities. Most of the shops there will also close early.

It is a calm and quiet place to stay except the first night (I stay 2 nights) because of the room next door, they were very noisy, and I could hear absolutely everything so the first evening was not good. The second night was better and I could sleep well because I was alone on the ground floor. Actually, it is a nice place if you want to rest far from the city, indeed all the village restaurants and market in Tai O close at 6 pm so you have to be prepared. So bad that there is no microwave or cooking stuffs to compensate for this situation. Also the room was not perfectly clean, there are some dirts and hairs on the ground, and food crumbs on the table and TV furniture. I think this place is okay for one night but not sufficiently equipped for a longer stay.

Nice stay with a good location

地點有點遠，不過可以接受。 因為沿途上都可以睇下風景，市集。 這兒比較鄉村一點，遠離鬧市， 入來享受下寧靜也是很不錯的。 感覺在大嶼山，鄰理關係比較好同和諧。 周邊很多唔怕人的貓，狗。😻😻😻 服務員好快覆WhatsApp，指示都清晰。 不過，如果可以提前一晚温馨提示會比較好！ 因為在check in前兩小時才收到通知。 人已快到，要準備的東西都準備唔切！ 服務態度都好的。 欣賞他們都好支持環保，所以常提示節約用水， 外出前要關燈同關冷氣。👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 感覺衛生環境真係差啲。。。 特別係洗手間，很多地方都發毛🤮。 之前話有提供洗頭水，護髮素，沐浴露。 但去到之後，發現沒有護髮素。 沐浴露也得返好少。。。 打掃衛生方面，可以再清潔一點， 發現有上手留下的指甲。。。 沒有提供盒裝紙巾，也沒有雪櫃， 所以有點唔方便。 冷氣有點嘈，但都好夠涼嘅！ 廁所的抽氣扇就只有嘈，但感覺唔到有抽氣， 完全發揮唔到抽气的功能。 隔音都算好嘅！ 床褥都好舒服，但枕頭就比較扁， 所以瞓完一晚，條頸唔舒服。

環境清幽恬靜，亦有迷人海景。晚上還可以走上露台看星星。

Bon séjour chez Tai O inn. La chambre est confortable et bien équipée pour le prix. Le seul bémol est que nous n’avons rencontré personne pour notre accueil mais la personne avec qui nous avons échangé était très réactive et a accepté que nous arrivions plus tôt pour poser nos affaires.
