Stanford Hillview Hotel recensioner

Rummet är nyrenoverat. Rent och snyggt. Men lukten från luftkonditioneringen är ganska dålig. Personalen är artig och hjälpsam. Jag kommer säkert att göra ett besök nästa gång när jag reser HK.

I visited Hong kong many times. I always stayed in hotels in Tsim Sha Tsui area. This hotel is the best! They give me the end unit with some view of the Observatory park. That’s bonus. I will definitely come back to stay next time I visit HK.

Great location served us perfectly. Cannot fault it, the hill isn’t too bad 😅

Pros - near restaurants and TST center, room is quaint and good for 2 persons. Housekeeping is quick to respond to requests. Cons- NOT recommended for the elderly as the climb to the hotel is very steep. Despite being on the Observatory road, and elevated grounds, there is NO good view from the small window. Just the adjacent building so we’re left without a choice but only to close the curtain throughout our stay despite us requesting for a good city view early on.

Breakfast buffet indeed good. More on the western style.

Good hotel with a clean room. But the location is uphill. Need to walk a few meters up a slope.

The room upgraded, enough space for the room and the table. The bathroom design also my favourite.

Everything is fine with the hotel except is located at the up hill. It’ll be difficult for us to drag out luggage all the way up to the lobby. Alternatively u may use the parking lift to reach the lobby.

Coming uphill in the street was a bit difficult with baggage, the hotelservice was very good. I only had bad noisy hotelneighbours that kept us awake, despite staff warning them. But the hotel and staff are good.

Very clean & spacious. I would stay here again if I come to Hong Kong in the future.

My stay at this hotel was profoundly disappointing and ranks as the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. It’s concerning that such substandard facilities exist in Hong Kong, potentially tarnishing the city’s reputation as a premier tourism destination. The cleanliness was appalling, with a noticeable odor on the bedsheets that made sleeping uncomfortable. The facilities were outdated and severely limited, falling far short of the 4-star rating advertised on Trip.com. In my opinion, this hotel barely qualifies for a 1-star rating, and its current classification is misleading to guests expecting value for their money. Most troubling was the staff’s behavior, particularly one individual who claimed to be the manager—a man in his thirties wearing glasses. When I checked out late at 1 p.m. and offered to pay the additional fee, he shouted at me to leave immediately. Despite my polite willingness to cover the charge, his rude and unprofessional demeanor persisted. I’ve never encountered such hostility in any hotel, and this so-called manager has no place in the hospitality industry. Overall, this hotel experience was utterly deplorable. I strongly advise against staying here unless you want your trip ruined.

It was great. Hotel was quiet and comfy. I would like to come here again if possible

The hotel was located in a good location that allowed us to reach every touristic spot of the city. The breakfast was good with different options to choose. The staff was polite and helped us to navigate the city since the first day.
