Ramada Hong Kong Harbour View

Very easy access to Sai Ying Pun metro station. Lots of food options downstairs. The room is sufficient size for solo travelers or couple. The bathroom is clean and efficient. The staff was very helpful in allowing me to send my luggage a day ahead of me. I appreciated that alot and will return again. Hopefully the swimming pool will be open when I return. I’d recommend this place to any solo travelers looking for a comfortable and convenient stay in HKG

The breakfast was very Chinese-oriented, ie- not a Western type cooked breakfast. The lifts were very frustrating- stopping at many floors even when no one was getting in or out. Also, the swimming pool was unavailable until July- this was not made clear in the website when we booked and was a major disappointment for us as well as several other guests, as we were able to go up to the pool area but not have a swim.

*** 希望大家來香港一定一定一定避開這家酒店！！！！***這家酒店真的是0.5分都不想給，環境設施衞生在“歧視大陸人”面前都可以忽略不計。以下是當天的日記：真的對香港很失望。每次來入住都有心理壓力了。十次來香港八次入住酒店都是會受到歧視，今天又是這種情況。首先看到港澳通行證態度明顯冷淡輕視，説給我安排29樓，看他那個樣子肯定是給我安排尾房（上次入住另一家酒店也是一模一樣的態度和語氣）於是我趕緊叮囑我不要尾房，果不其然他説衹有尾房了給我安排的還真就是尾房，我堅決不要，他説那就衹有6樓，我拿出訂單跟他交涉我預訂的是11-36樓層的，他又説那就衹有頭房，我説可以，不是尾房就行。於是安排了11樓頭房給我，挨着電梯很吵就算了，結果房間好大好沖的煙味，進去就想吐了窗户也不能打開的根本沒法住，打電話給前台他説沒有房了，換不了。以我對港人的瞭解他們肯定有房衹是不給內地客人，他們一慣這樣做。於是我衹好求助平台，平台去給我溝通了，於是前台打電話上來叫我下去説重新給我換一間，結果我下去了可惡的前台竟然反過來數落我一頓！真的很***！你酒店明明就有房為什麼非要故意給我安排尾房？或者有煙味的頭房？這也就算了，我要求換不給換還欺騙客人説沒有房間了，一定要我找到平台才給我換，平台一交涉這回又有房了？？？國家對香港這麼好，不用你們交一分錢的税，什麼安全的食品內地都優先供給你們，甚至你們都可以在內地享受醫保，內地對你們還不好嗎？你們有什麼好趾氣高昂的？為什麼對內地就那麼強的優越感？真的很差勁👎拜託攜程全面封殺這類搞歧視搞分化的酒店，不要讓這種酒店上架攜程的平台了！！此生再也不想在攜程平台訂到這種酒店了，真的是屈辱！國家養了一幫白眼狼，真的很失望！很失望！！！

The receptionists were professional and polite to my inquiries.The subway station is within 5 minutes walk .Just a few stations to get to the Central station.The location was close to my destination.Breakfast buffet was really nice,variable.The room was cleaned every day while I went to have breakfast.

I recently stayed at the Ramada Hong Kong Harbour View for two nights and, regrettably, found the experience thoroughly disappointing. Despite its branding, the hotel is neither on the harbour nor does it offer a genuine “harbour view” from seaside facing rooms. The property is located approximately 400 to 500 meters from the actual seafront, requiring a 5–10 minute walk to reach the water. From my room on the 30th floor, for which I paid extra to secure a “sea view,” the harbour was only partially visible, obscured by several surrounding buildings. (Please refer to attached photos.) The room itself was shockingly small. When I raised this with the duty receptionist, I was told that all rooms across the hotel’s 36 floors are exactly the same size — a revelation that only added to my dismay. The bathroom was the smallest I’ve encountered in any international hotel brand. The wash basin was barely the width of my slippers, the toilet seat had broken rests, and there was no surface to place even a toothbrush glass. The bed featured a hard spring mattress with a thin topper, and the springs audibly creaked and pressed through whenever I shifted position. Cleanliness was also lacking: a gold-painted wooden frame around the TV was coated in dust, clearly accumulated over months, if not years. (Again, photographic evidence is provided.) In short, the hotel’s name and marketing are misleading, and the facilities fall far below the standard expected of a Ramada-branded property. If this were in the UK, I would seriously consider legal action for misrepresentation and failure to disclose material facts about the room size and location. Not value for money. I do not recommend the Ramada Hong Kong Harbour View Hotel.

Great location. Can walk to MTR and bus station. Nice view from the 38th floor view deck. Friendly staff.
