The Harbourview-Chinese YMCA of Hong Kong

Trevligt hotell med mysiga rum som har allt man behöver, inklusive ett litet badrum. Vi gick på happy hour i baren och servitören var inte särskilt vänlig och hade svårt att kommunicera att vi inte kunde dela erbjudandet "köp en få en gratis". Förutom honom var personalen mycket vänlig.

Just across the street would reach Convention Centre. Subway / MTR stations also nearby. Excellent Harbourview

The room was comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful, and there were plenty of amenities provided. It was also conveniently located close to the main tourist attractions, making it a great place to stay. I would definitely recommend it.

When I got to the hotel, the staff didn’t even look at me during the check in process, very rude by miss Heidi, and her colleague. Not a smile, nothing. After that I asked if I could get some water as I was very tired and it was 35 degrees, the answer chocked me: a very direct “No.”. I was very surprised and asked “No, really?” The answer was “In Hong Kong we don’t give water”. I went to my room to rest and had to buy some water. Second night, I wake up at 10:30 in the night with dripping sounds, it was raining inside my room. I quickly called the reception and the woman said very casually “I’m sending someone”. A lady came with 5 shower towels and put them on the ground while we waited for the technicians to arrive. After 15 minutes they arrived with a vacuum and a ladder. 20 minutes of intense vacuum noise, 3 strange persons inside my room, I was awake for 35 minutes already, so I asked the reception if I could get a room just to sleep. Answer: “No, wait for them to finish”. I was shocked, so I hung up. After 10 more minutes I called the reception again asking for a place to sleep as I had an important meeting the next morning: “I already told you to wait for the technicians to finish.”. I decided to make a reservation in other hotel and pack my stuff. After I have everything packed and I’m ready to leave the manager comes and offers me a room, I answered that I tried 2 times to get other room and he lies to me saying someone had just made his checkout (at 11:30 PM, yeah right)… Of course I refused and I already had other hotel anyway, and when I’m leaving I’m approached by the manager that tells me “Just so you know, you will be charged for all the nights in your reservation whether you are here or not”. So, this is the level of the staff and the facilities of this awful hotel. Rooms are dirty and old, to go to the gym you need to pass through the restaurant. The gym can’t have more than 2 people. The “Harbor View” is non existent in 90% of the hotel, by the way, in my room I didn’t even have natural light because of all the buildings surrounding this “hotel”. My worst experience in 35 years. Please do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. I wish I could upload the videos of the water intensively dripping inside the room and all the noise.

Nice hotel, location between admiralty and congress very easy to navigate the city from here. Stunning view from the rooms.

Standard room doesn’t have any view. Around 200 usd per night will not included even 1 bottle of water. Poor service

Very well located, small room but practical for a 2 night stay with a very nice view . I would come back!

The location is so convenient, accessible to the mtr and bus stops easily
