Having pre-purchased a meal deal, I went to the restaurant at 6:00pm, only to be informed that the earliest available dining slot was 8:00pm. I accepted this and returned at the designated time, placing my order for soup to start and a burger for the main course. After waiting 43 minutes, my starter still hadn’t arrived. At that point, I decided to cancel the order and informed your staff that the service was unacceptable. I then had no choice but to go to the nearby BP garage for a meal. The staff member there mentioned that the restaurant frequently struggles with kitchen staffing, which suggests this is an ongoing issue rather than an isolated incident. This level of service falls far short of what I would expect from Premier Inn. As a result, I am seriously reconsidering using your restaurants in the future—and quite possibly your hotel chain altogether.
