We had a lovely meal, the food was delicious and piping hot. Lots of choice on the menu . Something to suit all tastes so no complaints about the food at all. Service was also very good. The girls were polite, friendly and efficient. The cosy atmosphere was perfect.

The room was beautifully decorated and toasty warm,which is what you need this time of year. The mattress was so comfortable and the complimentary tea tray very well stocked. The bar and bar staff was very friendly. A wonderful local pub with great bar and log fire. The food was amazing, well presented and good value for money. Breakfast had a great selection and also was very tasty with local produce. Definitely staying again!!!

Food was absolutely delicious, very friendly staff who welcomed us and our dog. Perfect lunch. Would definitely recommend. The menu had a great variety and having a dog menu was a great gimmick which she enjoyed it too. Will definitely be back

Sunday lunch was very good. Well presented. Good selection of veg - carrots, pparsnips, red and green cabbage and leeks - with plenty of potatoes. Lots of hot gravy. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Selection of starters and desserts was small but adequate.

Excellent Sunday Roast. We were a party of 6 and the roast lunch exceeded our expectations. The meat was cooked perfectly and was served with a good selection of vegetables. We will definitely all recommend Sunday Roast at The Horton Inn and book again.

We have a family meet up here once or twice a year for about a dozen of us. They are always accommodating. It's easy to book and we have great service and choice and standard of food. I usually pre - order so it makes it easy all round and the food is served promptly

Spent two nights in this delightful Inn . All the staff were friendly , cheerful and helpful . Nothing was too much trouble. My room , with ensuite, was spotless and warm , with a good choice of tea , coffee and biscuits on offer . Very comfortable bed , and although situated on a road junction , there was no traffic noise at all . Delicious breakfast from a varied menu . I will definitely stay again when next in the area. Thank you Horton Inn .

We meet up here as a family several times a year and we are always treated really well and we all go away having eaten a lovely meal. There is a very good children's menu and the waiting staff always look after us so well. Will be back again in the Spring to continue our family meet up.

We love the Horton Inn and frequently dine here when the family get together. We had a lovely meal with 13 family members. Food was delicious and the service was good. The staff were very friendly and efficient. We had a relaxed enjoyable evening. The only thing I would recommend and we as a family have said is the lighting in the restaurant is very bright for a meal in the evening .
