Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Houghton, MI

Fantastic stay! Staff were very friendly, tge room very clean. It wasn't noisy. The pool and hot tub were very relaxing. Definitely recommended this hotel. It is also at a great location with a Walmart right by as well as several different restaurants.

We stayed here for two nights. The room was very clean with a comfortable bed. The only issue with the room was that the shower head looked quite ancient and should be replaced. The front desk staff and breakfast attendants we interacted with were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast itself was excellent and had many gluten-free options, including waffle batter. There was plenty of parking available, was right next to a Walmart and only 5 minutes from the downtown area of Houghton. We'd definitely stay here again when in Houghton!

We had a 2 queen room and it was a nice size for our family of four. Overall, the room was very clean. The sheets are super soft and the beds are comfortable. The breakfast is above average and very tasty. The one VERY BIG PROBLEM is that the toilet is extremely low to the ground. It is lower than a standard toilet and it's almost impossible to get up and down. When seated, you're literally squatting with your knees almost in your chest. Even my teenage kids mentioned how the toilet was uncomfortable to use. If you have even a slight amount of trouble with your knees, back, hips or lower body strength I would not recommend this for hotel because of the toilet alone. Honestly, it was very strange and I've never seen anything like it. Unless there is a handicapped toilet option or taller toilet in another room, I would not come back, and it's really sad because otherwise it's a GREAT hotel.

We enjoyed our stay at the Country Inn. The hotel was clean and staff was friendly. Our room was spacious and had comfortable beds and plenty of pillows. Breakfast was pretty good. They even had fresh berries for the waffles. There's a great restaurant right in the parking lot.

We spent one night here as part of a road trip through parts of Michigan, and these was a wonderful hotel for the night. It is part of a chain, so big and lacking character, but hugely comfortable and conveniently located. We especially enjoyed the free cookies they had available at the desk when we checked in. The room and bed were very comfortable, and after spending time on the Keeweenaw Peninsula with pretty minimal cell coverage, we enjoyed the fast Wifi. The hotel was located within easy driving distance of multiple restaurant options, and the price was very reasonable. Overall we were happy with our choice and would gladly stay here again.

We stayed here for 2 nights while visiting Keweenah NHP. This was the best hotel of our 11-day trip. Our room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. Staff was very helpful. Breakfast was excellent. We would definitely stay here again.

it was nice. just sad that they closed the lobby at 10:30 there time. nice rooms and great cookies had a few. quiet and clean. beautiful outside. cool things to see when there. the pool area was very nice. not alot of kids.

Pet friendly and comfortable. Collapsed into bed and slept deeply after long drive. Helpful staff. Definitely would stay again. Very clean and nicely maintained. About 0.5 miles from university. Walmart easy walk from hotel. Several fast food restaurants within a 10 minute walk.
