Studio 6 Houston, TX - Hobby South

I booked my room months in advance and when I called the property day of to see if I could arrive a few hours early to my check in they told me that they gave my room away and I would have to choose a different room! I took a different room only for that room to have a very STRONG smell of mold and they had dead roaches all over the floor! After seeing all that we went to the front and had to check out 5 different rooms because they all had something heavily wrong with it. They also were fighting me on a refund even tho they PROMISED a clean safe room. DO NOT book here unless you have ABSOLUTELY no where else to go!

The stay would’ve been a better experience except for a few things; cockroaches, not sure if the city pays them to take in the homeless but it appears this hotel does, when checking in front desk could’ve been more pleasant and with a $100 security deposit you would think you would receive the cooking utensils as offered.

Maybe ok if you smoke Roaches and so much smoke in a none smoking it gave me a migraine and I had to checkout and find a new hotel. As I was checking out early another guy in line started a conversation with me, turned out he was checking out early for the same reason so it wasn't just me or my room.

Too much traffic happening next door did not feel safe one bit. Was not clean at all had to scoot across on towels and even then felt dirty.

Room was convenient and neat. Surround location was very good.

Absolutely disgusting place. Flush didnt work, no hot water in bath basin, no wifi, burner was broken and no resolution for any problem...i asked multiple times for a refund so i could go somewhere else but no corporation Terrible service and place...worst decision of my life that i booked a room here
