Warning! There is no quick check-in at this place. You wait outside in the hot sun with lots of mosquitoes for a for code. Others waited 45 minutes to 1 hour while I waited 2 hours before leaving. Worst yet they denied my refund so I had to call the cc company to refund my 3 day stay. When someone answered the door to "help me" get a room assignment, they left me out another hour before I left. They most likely did not like the color of my skin. I would sure them but will instead report them to bbb.

This isn't a backpackers hostel, its a dilapidated home in a rough area.
I have seen crack houses in better conditions than this
The rooms stink, there's rubbish on the floor, there's no security on the building

Bad experience
The first time I saw the place I was very surprised. Is this really the house I booked? It's like a homeless shelter with 4 bunk beds, fans scattered all over the place, dirty water, and a musty smell. I booked for 4 people but I got a B5 bunk bed on one bed. In my opinion, how can the owner do this to customers? Don't you check your place before renting it to others? It's very dirty and scary. I want my booking money back. I really can't stay here. How can you open a place like this on this channel?

Awesome place, and wonderful host, staff, the people staying there are an interesting mix of all types, yet got along well with each other. I found it refreshing, and felt more at home than any of the hotels that I've been at this summer.

It's different than a hotel for sure, but that's the charm. I really liked the place, and the atmosphere is good. Having staff members there helps keep it that way. Saw a couple of instances that they were able to keep it smooth, when it could have gone another way altogether if they hadn't been there. I felt safe there.

I have enjoyed my time at Stop Inn Stay. It has been a different experience for sure. I've been in hotels, and the extended Stay Hotels all summer, after awhile it was becoming tiring. So, this is a great new experience for me. It's very clean, even with so much going on here, and quite a few people. Nice, and easy check in.
