Good location for tourist spots but quite noisy if you don't like the constant noise of beeping horns from the nearby road (not sure if it is even possible to escape this in India). It did get better between say 10.30pm and 8am). The train (immediately outside the hotel entrance) screeches by but not frequently, boat engines can be heard in the distance but it's on a river 😅. It was a bit of a party boat on some nights (loud and late disco noise if there is an event). The noise stopped at around 9pm one night but went on much later on another night; if your room is close to the bar it may be an issue was wasn't too bad for me as i use ear plugs. The most irritating noise, believe it or not, is people shouting or having loud conversations in the corridors. The room is 3* and there is no safe for your passport, cash, cards etc. The pillows, bed covers and floors were't cleaned particularly well. I had to help myself to consumables from the corridor as they weren't topped up by cleaners. Anyway, a very brief stay could be a good experience, one night maybe.I am pleased to have had the experience and despite the shortfalls would probably recommend it as a one off unique experience, for one or two nights. The breakfast was very good with lovely river views and a chill atmosphere.

Good hotel !!

The boating experience was delightful! The boat was set up with a sweet welcome sign and expertly arranged picnic baskets. Everything was delicious. They rowed us against the current ***** the banks and then started the motor that took us all the way to the bridge. The crew let us know when to take good pictures and also invited us to partake in the scrumptious food and chai. All in all it was a lovely experience!
