Stayed here and it was perfect the staff where excellent and I would like to give a special mention to Lucy who could not do enough for us always had a smile on her face and was very helpful.

Hands down the best fish and chips in hoylake, this place is a fantastic pub, great beer garden ..good selection of beer and whiskey, gorgeous food and service is so friendly, shout out to Jim and Katie who served us our food and drink impeccably, Jim carried our bag to our room and gave us the full low down on night time arrangements with staying over, room was clean and cosy and couldn't ask for more for the price. The pub is 70 yards from the beach and 100 yards from the station, plenty to do in hoylake and a fabulous base for a night out.

Staff and food are great quality. Superb beer garden for the sunny days and surprisingly excellent breakfasts! Lucy and Sophie are particularly accomadating .The stand food are the pies along with the 1664 lager.Both a little on the rich side but you pay for what you get

I arrived after a long drive to be greeted warmly and escorted to my room. My accommodation was clean, bright, and very comfortable. The meal that night was amazing and some of the best I've tasted while travelling around the UK. I recommend the pie. I generally don't stay in pubs or large bars as I need a good night's sleep, but the Green Lodge has changed that. Great night's sleep all round. The shower room was perfect and had lots of hanger space. 2nd night's meal was fish and chips, and it was perfect. Beautiful fresh fish and stunning chips. The staff were fantastic, and being in their company was a pleasure. Thank you.

A lovely pub with 6 rooms, we stayed for 2 nights, room was spotlessly clean, and the bed was so comfortable which is always a bonus. Staff were so nice and friendly, bar area really cosy and the food was great and reasonably priced. A short walk from the sea and in a lovely area. Definitely will be returning.

Had a Sunday roast here with our walking group the place was packed says something the staff were very busy mix of family couples friends. Great big out door seating area some covered . The food was lovely we had to wait a while understandable they were very busy didn’t bother us as it was a great time to catch up with everyone. The management offered us a drink to compensate for the wait nice gesture but we understood not like staff were standing round they were extremely busy. Food came out lovely an hot an very tasty so worth the wait couldn’t fit in a sweet to my disappointment. Lovely place great atmosphere definitely go again an maybe stay next time it’s a great location

Lovely pub with plenty of areas to sit or dine including the spacious area outside. The menu is inviting and we had 2 lovely courses. Jim was a friendly, helpful, attentive member of staff. The manager was also friendly, attentive and helpful.

Rooms spotlessly clean. Breakfast service is impeccable. Great place for getting to all the local amenities. Close to the beach and next to the golf course. Staff are so helpful and really go above and beyond Highly recommended and looking forward to returning

Brilliant experience, food is always lovely, the staff are all so attentive, friendly and welcoming and the quiz on a Friday is great fun. The new menu is great, and there are often great deals available like 30% off mains and a set evening menu price too
