I have always loved this property, great location, beautiful beach, load of things for the kids to do and the best part is the helpful and courteous staff. They are ready to help with anything and everything. Special shout out to Mr. Alex my old friend whom I remembered the minute I saw him at the front office after so many years at the front office, he is still bubbling with energy and so very helpful. Keep it up guys.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful hotel. The room with a garden view was absolutely stunning, providing a tranquil and picturesque setting. Unfortunately, our nights were somewhat disrupted by a group of noisy tourists. However, the staff handled the situation with the utmost professionalism and care. They kindly offered to move us to a junior suite, but we chose to remain in our room as we were already settled. Overall, we highly recommend this hotel. As with all our experiences at Anantara, it did not disappoint and maintained the high standards we have come to expect.

The resort is in Lanna Thai style and heritage looking. There is “Welcome Hi” from a parrot in the lobby. The staff at front deck is friendly and hospitality. It’s a good choice to stay for nights if you want to run away from the busy city. There are private beach, tropical plants, swimming pools in the resort. The breakfast is good, my room with garden view is spacious, I had a great night in Anantara Hua Hin Resort.

I stayed 3 nights and the room was spacious and located front of beach. But the beach was not for relaxing but just to see. Also, location is quite far from Hua Hin center… The good thing were nice employees and good beach side restaurant where afforable but good quality.

The hotel looks nice with greenery in general. The beach is not so wide and quite full cover with rocks though. Rooms and buildings a bit worn out. Still had a good experience throughout the stay

When booking the Anantara we were expecting something a little more luxurious. A few things just stopped it from being that. The grounds are lovely, well kept and the staff were pleasant. Food in the restaurants was good. Breakfast had a nice, big selection but was so busy after 8:30am. It was also quite cramped and unorganized if it rained. We found it very odd that we had to pay for drinks/food each time, rather than just paying a bill at the end. We walked out of the bar one night after signing the bill and giving our room number, only to be called up and then chased by a waitress to have us pay. Apparently we didn’t have ‘credit’ on our room. Never had to do that before. The room was nice and spacious but was quite damp. It smelt a bit off when we first walked in. The beach area wasn’t really a beach, which was a shame. You can’t walk along it. There’s just a small raised area with some Sun loungers beside the sea. The pool area was lovely! Location wise it’s a bit out of town so you’d need to hire a motorcycle or get taxi’s to go to the main beach, or markets. I had high hopes, but it just didn’t live up to expectations. For what we paid, and what we got, I think it’s quite expensive.

It’s a Thai atmosphere beach front hotel. We went there in April, the hottest month of the year, but the sea breeze was very nice. Good hospitality. Nice breakfast buffet.

The hotel is an about 5-10mins from hua hin night market or major shopping centres. So you’ll need to commute back and forth if you want to do some shopping or for meals outside of the hotel but taxis ain’t easy to get during busy hours. We booked two rooms with garden view. The rooms felt a bit old and our boys got really bad mosquito bites all over their face, arms and legs (So beware if you are travelling with kids). There were many activities for kids (badminton, swimming, mini football, kids room) but you do need to queue for your turn as the hotel was busy. Breakfast was buffet styled and the food was ok (but nothing too spectacular) with plenty of local and western options. The spa was very good. I had a deep tissue massage and I just felt so relaxed and slept through half of the treatment. Overall, a well established resort in hua hin with a more traditional or old-school feel to it. If you are looking for a more modern resorts with newer facilities, then this may not be the place for you.

Location was a bit far from main attraction if you are seeking other activities aside from resort then should look into it. Beach was just a wall, couldnt walk on the beach. Price was expensive. Power went out around 11:30 ish then check out was a chaos. Break fast was good. Blanket had bad smell like a mob.

There's the Christmas event till 10pm. A bit loud and haven't been noticed in advance. Service is average if compared with Anantara in Chiang Mai. The good side here is being near sea. I like the secret side of the hotel, the lotus swamp. Good view there on the morning.

This is our second time staying at this hotel. We had a very good impression last time. Overall, we still had a great weekend here. But there are three things that really make me unhappy. First, there was an error in the breakfast bill. The bills were different on two days and the staff miscalculated the number of people. Second, there was a problem with the room door lock on the day I left. I ran it twice and still no solution. Third, we called the service center at about four o'clock in the afternoon and asked for a few bottles of water to be delivered to us. After the service center agreed, no one delivered it until ten o'clock in the evening, so we had to call again to ask for it. This is not the service standard that Anantara should have! I will seriously consider changing to a different hotel next time.
