I am writing to formally complain about the extremely disturbing and unacceptable experience my family and I had at 花蓮統茂渡假莊園 HUALIEN TOONGMAO RESORT. Our stay was completely ruined due to a massive issue with unbearable noise coming from the bathroom drain, which made it impossible to rest. Given the severity of this issue and the hotel’s failure to resolve it, I am demanding a full refund for my booking. The Main Issue: The Bathroom Noise Nightmare • At 11:00 PM, an incredibly loud, disturbing noise started coming from the bathroom drain every time our neighbors used their water taps. • The noise was so intense and terrifying that it echoed through the room, making it impossible to relax. • I immediately went to the reception to report the issue, and a staff member was sent to my room. Hotel’s Response: No Solution, No Help • The hotel staff recorded a video of the noise themselves, acknowledging how bad the problem was. • However, they told me outright that nothing could be done to fix it. • I also recorded my own video, which clearly captures how unbearable the noise was. Severe Impact on My Family’s Stay • At 11:30 PM, the staff entered our room to inspect the issue, waking my child and further disrupting our night. • My wife, whose birthday we were supposed to be celebrating, was left feeling exhausted and frustrated due to the ongoing disturbances. • The noise continued throughout the night, making sleep impossible. Unacceptable Service & Request for Full Refund This experience was beyond unacceptable. A hotel’s basic responsibility is to provide a quiet and comfortable environment, but instead, we were subjected to a night of relentless noise and frustration. The hotel: 1. Failed to provide a livable room due to the unbearable bathroom noise. 2. Failed to resolve the issue despite acknowledging the problem themselves. 3. Ruined our entire stay, causing us significant stress and inconvenience. Because of this, I am demanding a full refund for my booking. I expect an immediate response confirming the refund and an acknowledgment of the serious failure in service. Thank you for your prompt attention to this complaint.

Quiet place. May be inaccessible but easy to get taxi. The breakfast choices are good, soybean is extremely awesome! Different from what we had back home in Singapore.

Good service and nice room overall. Good Chinese style breakfast. Check in kiosk is used, which is interesting, however still need to go to reception for the breakfast voucher. Location is not the best, 15 minutes walking from Jian train station and pretty much no other public transport nearby. I ordered a taxi from the reception.

Too far from town centre. Room not very clean with dusts over ceiling. Breakfast was not that great either. Not really worth the money.

This is a hotel for tourist group, so so facilties with service OK, but location is remote and hard to get to anywhere. Fair price but low CP considering factors mentioned.

We highly recommended the place. The service was very good. We like to especially thank the staff at its restaurant who went for an extra mile and provided simple take away food for us after knowing that we needed to leave slightly before the meal time.

臨時起意到花蓮一晚訂到莊園，內部與圖片100%相符，美中不足的是停車位比較沒有規劃與引導； 莊園內很多小東西可以玩，也有羽球、飛鏢等設施可以親子同樂，早餐自助吧也豐富，有在用心經營的莊園，很推薦喔!

本來看飯店評價很兩極～很怕會踩雷！但是～其實～真的還不錯！價格很平價～所以要求也不高～cp值滿高的！

是乾乾凈凈的，吃飯有點不方便！其他還不錯！停車位如果滿房的情況下應該是不夠，另外離鐵路不遠，仔細聽會有火車通行的聲音！

酒店位置雖然有點遠離市區，但是開車十分鐘以內可以到達熱鬧的街拍，餐飲丶購物⋯⋯等等購物活動皆能滿足. 酒店環境清靜丶停車方便丶服務人員親切、設施雖說不是十分新穎，但是整齊清潔，CP值高.

外表或許不是很驚艷，感覺有點年紀的飯店，但進入以後，慢慢地發覺他內在韻味。 我們入住稻香雙人房間很典雅、很大，尤其超大的床超好睡、我是一個頸部復健中的老人，對床、枕頭超挑剔的，竟然在這睡的超熟超深眠。給飯店老闆所選的床硬設施大大的讚。房間超乾淨，硬體設備雖然不新但有古樸典雅的韻味是我喜歡的～有點像功夫茶要慢慢品。 我們是一對老夫妻來花蓮訪友，入住前有寫需求安靜、無菸味、因體質無法住邊間，雖然房間有隔音上的微瑕疵，但飯店方都滿足我們老人家的需求，一個晚上寧靜又稻田中的好磁場一夜好眠。 後庭院也給高分，很適合漫步舒壓。 早餐豐富好吃。 這是很適合我們不需求五光十射的遊樂設施，來這享受漫遊舒適放鬆的住宿環境。 唯一瑕疵就是不提供晚餐，但我們也用飯店的泡麵和手機點外送解決了。 價錢很合理，很推的住宿。

飯店除了早餐，沒有設置餐廳可供午餐、下午茶及晚餐使用，除夕入住要自己想法找食物，最後感謝7-11過年有營業，我們在7-11開心的選擇自己的團圓餐。 房間大小適中，但兒子進房後，一打開廁所就看有蟑螂在爬，我跟兒子說，沒關係，它已經爬進孔洞，不要再出來就好，然後就在浴缸和浴室門縫看到螞蟻在行軍。 因為連住兩晚，check-in時，飯店人員說，會進房換毛巾，當時已經說不用，真的有需要會打給房務，飯店人員還提醒我打到櫃檯就可以了，結果第2天外出回房，發現浴巾跟垃圾已全被更換，如果知道還是會進房打掃，我會把貴重物品鎖進保險箱，畢竟沒必要考驗人性。 因為是這次是環島旅行，先生自備的牙刷壞了，上網查了一下政府規定：不在營業場所陳列個人衛生用品供消費者自由取用，如果忘了自行準備或臨時住宿時，有需求仍可以向業者索取或購買。 飯店選擇了販售的方式，但只販售整組的一次性用品50元，無法只買牙刷，即使我們只需要一隻牙刷，還是得買整組，很不環保。 讓我真的感到生氣的是，洗手台旁的洗手乳已經少到壓不出來，第一天給房沒事先補充，第二天都進房換毛巾了，還是沒補，最後在退房時聽到其他房客反映的內容也是洗手乳沒了，感覺自己也有同溫層，因為可以不補滿，但壓不出來的當下真的很令人生氣。 淋浴間的潤發乳因為質地的關係，壓過比較難再流動，瓶子也都被固定，無法攪拌，所以要一直拍打瓶身才能再慢慢擠出足量的潤髮乳，伴隨著蓮蓬頭有破損水會隨意噴射，洗個澡洗的心很累。 最後，飯店是軟床，基本的硬體設備都還行，但吹風機的風力很不行。 以上入住期間都沒有跟飯店反映，因為飯店人員感覺都勤勤懇懇的工作，希望管理階層能多花心思帶領、教導員工如何做好。

房 間 大 小 算 還 行，風 景 還 可 以， 白 天 會 聽 到 火 車 經 過 的 聲 音 ， 環 境 衛 生 算 是 維 持 的 蠻 乾 淨 了， 早 餐 ㄧ 般 般，免 強 充 飢

位置很方便，CP值非常高，人員態度親切，飯店也很新很乾淨，推薦大家來這邊住，床軟適中很好睡，自備備品一起做環保。
