Manor House Lindley

We love afternoon teas and were really looking forward to afternoon tea at the Manor House. The room was lovely and the service was good but the food was a real let down. One of the savouries was a croissant with goats cheese and relish, when we opened the croissant it literally had about a teaspoon of goats cheese in it (see picture) For the price we expected the sweet things to be homemade and they weren't, I've seen the exact same frozen patisseries in other places which was very disappointing, not only that but it seemed like they were only willing to open one pack which were all the same flavour...blackberry, every one was a fruit and the same fruit. There should be a selection, chocolate, sponge, lemon, creamy etc even the choux bun had a blackberry filling, tough luck if you don't like blackberries. The 2 stars are for the room and the service, the food was abysmal.

My husband and I got married in The Coach House May 2025 and let me tell you, it was PERFECT. I could not have had a better day. The weather was beautiful, my favorite people were there celebrating, but it wouldn't have been perfect without Gemma and team who made the entire day seamless. From the months leading up to the wedding, consistent communication, delivery day of the wedding and even the after touches. When all was said and done, my husband and I made our way to our room and we received a personalized engraved bottom of champagne for us to commemorate the day. If you're considering getting married, Manor House is your place! My guests still can't stop raving about the venue!

Had a fantastic afternoon tea in the clock tower restaurant. My initial email was dealt with quickly and efficiently. We had such a warm welcome into such a gorgeous setting. The food was sumptuous, delicious and superb quality. Would definitely recommend
