This place is a Hidden gem! Rooms are super nice. Super clean. Front desk check in was very nice. Just 5 minutes from the cute town of Hudson. We even got free water and snacks, which is a nice touch. The motel doesn’t look like much from the exterior and it’s off the busy expressway, I didn’t even hear the traffic. The best part was the value. $100 a night plus taxes and fees.

I gave the Royal Inn a chance on a recent trip through Hudson after reading reviews of several hotels in the area. The amazing reviews by others and the low cost prompted me to give it a try. I was upgraded on checkin to a "deluxe" room which I take to mean one of their remodeled rooms. It was nicer than many 3.5 star name brand hotels and EXTREMELY clean. Every staff member I met was super friendly and helpful. It's clear from the finishes and product selections in the room that they are creating a quality experience. The bed and pillows were comfortable, the room was quiet aside from a little highway noise, and the room easily made 100% dark. I don't know if every room is as mine was, but I found it a thoroughly comfortable stay.

Upon pulling in to Hudson, we found this older, but clean, motel right off of I-94. The gentleman working the check-in desk was very cordial and provided us with a 'welcome bag' upon check-in. There was a couple bottles of water and a couple of bags of various chips. I don't think that we had experienced this on our trip until now. It was a nice gesture. The room was comfortable and clean. We were able to pull up wight in front of our room.

We like to stay in Mom and Pop type hotels and the Royal Inn is definitely a family run hotel. It was one of the cleanest hotels rooms I have ever seen. This is one of my top priorities when booking a hotel room. The owners were friendly and attentive. The price was much less other hotels. The amenities are limited so this is not the hotel for everyone. However, if you do not mind a place with no breakfast or swimming pool, this is a fantastic option.

This inn looks modest from the outside, but the room was especially nice. Very clean. You can park right outside your door, which is so convenient. The bathroom is up to date, and as nice as a big city luxury hotel. The beds are very comfortable with great pillows! The room was very quiet. Huge TV with many channels. Top quality coffee in the room. The people are very friendly and helpful. I will definitely stay there again.

Upon our arrival, the front desk gentleman was super sweet. Right away he makes you feel important and comfortable about being there. We had a couple issues with our keys but he was right on top of it and fixed the issues immediately. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The beds were "just right" and comfortable. I like that we could park our vehicle right in front of our room. We were in the back building and did not hear any of the road noise. We didn't hear noise from other guests. It was a great place to stay. We will FOR SURE be back to stay again and again when in the area.

Recently remodeled, excellent decor, phenomenal bathroom (I wish mine was this good), vegan shampoo, fantastic flat screen TV, snack bag upon sign in. Tons of attention to details. Absurdly pleasant experience, even though it's not a looker from the outside. We'll definitely be back. Thank you!

Don't be fooled by the location or modest appearances. This place is Budget done Right! It passes the barefoot test on the carpeting and in the bathroom. Good water pressure in the shower. The large building sits opposite a quiet residentiaI street. And the building is quiet. There is a good sized mini-fridge and a Microwave. Location has many options for food, gas and laundry. If you want breakfast, you can go to a Motel chain and pay over 100$/night for cornflakes and a danish. I'm a senior and I've always felt safe here. The price is right!

Don't judge a book by its cover. The rooms are large and remodeled. The staff was more than accommodating. We had a problem with the reservation, my fault not theirs,and they fixed it no problem. Will be staying here every time we come back to Hudson.
