Exceptional Service Marred by Reception Issues My recent stay at titanic beach and spar was a truly mixed bag. On one hand, the service provided by the cleaning staff, catering team, pool boys, waiters, and bar staff, buss boys was absolutely exemplary. They went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction, demonstrating a level of dedication that was truly remarkable. Nothing was too much trouble, and their genuine warmth and attentiveness made our holiday incredibly enjoyable. I cannot praise them enough – they truly made our stay special. However, the experience with the reception staff was unfortunately the complete opposite. Their lack of helpfulness and efficiency significantly impacted our overall enjoyment and left a sour taste. Firstly, despite being returning guests (our third visit), we were not informed about our entitlement to a VIP upgrade. We only discovered this on our final day, which was incredibly disappointing. Secondly, a towel was inexplicably removed from our balcony, and I was charged 10 euros for its replacement. This felt unfair and poorly handled. Thirdly, despite specifically requesting a ground floor room at the time of booking and confirming via email, we were initially assigned a third-floor room located at a considerable distance. It took two days and six separate trips to the reception to finally be relocated, and even then, the ground floor room we were given was further away than our original room. Finally, we were denied a late check-out, even though our airport transfer wasn't until 7:30 PM. We were told the hotel was fully booked and rooms were needed, yet our vacated room remained empty until we left the hotel at 6 PM. The contrast between the exceptional service from the restaurant, pool and cleaning teams and the frustrating experiences with the reception staff was stark. The holiday itself was amazing, the facilities were brilliant and the majority of the staff were faultless. It is with great regret that, due to the poor handling by the reception, I would be hesitant to return This is a huge shame, as the hotel has so much potential, but the front desk experience was simply unacceptable.
