One of the rare times when I have to write a negative review about a hotel and its staff, because unfortunately the vacation was ruined. We rested for one week in the middle of January this year. The first negative impression was made upon moving into the room, because it had not been cleaned for a while - the amount of dust on the table and lamps was in a deep layer, as well as dirty footprints on the floor. To the rebuke we made at the reception, they only stated that it was because the room was on the first floor and dust was coming in through the window... The next shock that accompanied us during the entire vacation was the dirty state of the plates and glasses, I couldn't count how often beer and wine were poured into glasses that had the previous customer's lip prints on them, how often the previous food was stuck on the plates, just terrible, the staff never even apologized when reprimanded, but muttered something under their breath. Several times we saw how Beach bar glasses are simply rinsed with water in the sink, without dishwashing liquid, I won't even talk about using a dishwasher. Unfortunately, very naturally, on the third day of rest, I got a stomach virus that plagued me for the rest of the vacation, prevented me from visiting Luxor, and basically ruined the entire vacation. The most unpleasant thing was that every day I had to turn down dozens of offers from hotel agents, who regularly offered to go on excursions, although I pointed out that this was impossible for some reasons. The hotel barely meets 3 stars, 5 stars is a long way off. Unfortunately, I can only say positive words about the work of the animators, who were not exclusive, but were friendly and did their work diligently. The rest of the service staff did everything without the slightest rush. For example, after cleaning the room, no towels were placed, which we informed the cleaning staff we met right there in the hallway, but the towels were brought only after 20 minutes. Approaching the bar counter when no one else was there, the bartender almost always had to pay special attention, never was attention paid by the service staff. And it can go on for quite some time… Quite sad, because the hotel positions itself as a 5-star hotel. We are not new to vacations, we regularly fly to Turkey to relax, but this was a "special" case. That's why I can't recommend this hotel at all, because there is a lot of work to be done here, especially in terms of hygiene issues, which is under every criticism...It's sad, but this was the first and probably the last time I visited Egypt.
