WARNING! A nightmare, not a vacation – a real threat to guests. I stayed with my daughter and young son – I wouldn’t wish this experience on anyone. Although over many years we have stayed at many hotels in Egypt and always felt safe, this time everything turned into a true nightmare. From the second day, disturbing situations began to occur. As things escalated, suspicious men started photographing my daughter with flash and followed her during the final days. At the same time, one of the staff members was hiding in the bushes, talking on the phone while simply watching us. He followed us frequently – a short man, of slim build, always dressed in black, with a phone pressed to his ear, staring at us with a deadly glare. But he wasn’t the only one. There were more – not one or two. These men followed us, and we didn’t sleep for three nights out of fear, especially since some of the staff were involved. The threat was not only to my daughter, but also to me and my young son. We felt completely unsafe, and when we found out that the surveillance cameras weren’t even working, we realized – we were left to our fate. We’re grateful we took all possible safety precautions ourselves. The hotel and the room faded into the background compared to what we went through – fear, stress, complete uncertainty. We came to relax, but left with emotional scars. I could tell even more terrifying things, because this is certainly not the end of the story, but the most important thing is that you understand how dangerous this place can be. Don’t forget – if you face these problems, the hotel reception won’t call the police even when you ask, despite seeing the fear and tears in your eyes. You won’t receive further help – only mocking looks. We thank God we made it back. We are sincerely afraid for others who may end up there and suffer. I do not recommend.
