We were disappointed with Iberotel Casa Del Mar. There were quite a few important negatives that dragged down the experience. We will not be returning. If you don’t mind cold food, no sleep and being harassed, then you’ll be ok. Room Hotel was very loud at night, until 1am. Mosque woke us up every morning at 4.30am. So we were getting very limited and broken sleep. As our room was right next to the Little Bar/entertainment seating, we asked at reception if we could move rooms in the hope of a better nights sleep, to which the man who served us was rude, shrugged his shoulders, and said ‘I can move your room but it won’t make a difference’. To make matters worse, coupled with the noise, the bed was uncomfortable and very hard, even with a mattress topper. It felt like sleeping on concrete. The shower in the bathroom was revolting. When you stay in a hotel, it is always expected that the shower grout/sealant will be a bit dirty as it is difficult to clean. However our shower clearly had not been cleaned for a long time, photos are attached for reference. Minibar noisy, dirty and not included - very expensive too. Only x2 sockets, not enough. Housekeeping failed to fill our shampoo and body wash more than once meaning we had to leave a note. We also got to night 8 and our sheets had still not been changed, so we had to leave a note for that too. Food Disappointing. Some of it we really enjoyed, however, there was no consistency. More often than not it was lukewarm, bland, fatty and cold. On an evening the carved meat and fries were consistently cold. Bread and cake stale. They offered food from the previous night cold around the pool. Menu at the Italian (on the evening) was very limited to seafood only. Very hot in the restaurant and limited outdoor seating. Dirty table/cutlery on more than one occasion. No self serve ‘snack bar’ by the pool. There’s a sit down food area but with a limited menu. If you wanted something quick on an afternoon, this was not possible. Drink Not good. Soda and lager ok, however, cocktails were awful. Vodka had a horrible aftertaste. No bottled water and only a glass bottle in the room. Dangerous for use in the bathroom when brushing our teeth. Lager served in a tiny glass, no more than half a pint. ‘Fanta’ and juice served from a bottle, often warm left on the side. Pool Good, enough seating (could find a sun bed throughout the day) but doubt there would be in Jul/Aug. Little/no chlorine in the pool however. The heated pool was louder and the non heated pool quieter. Hot tub felt and looked dirty. Staff Ibrahim on the pool bar by the unheated pool was brilliant every single day. He was friendly, attentive, and welcoming. He should get some extra time off. The service when eating was generally excellent, with drinks being brought over to you and plates cleared quickly. A Fantastic Stay at Iberotel Casa Del Mar Resort! We’ve just returned from an amazing stay at Iberotel Casa Del Mar Resort, and we can’t recommend it enough! The service, hospitality, and overall experience were outstanding, making for a truly memorable holiday. A huge thank you to the incredible staff who went above and beyond to make our stay special: Pool & Bar Staff: Ibrahim at the pool bar, Ahmed El Rahman at the little bar, and Abd Elaziz Seif, who provided fantastic service, especially on Fridays and Saturdays. Restaurant Team: Ahmed Saif, Ahmed Adel, and Kazam – all of whom ensured a top-notch dining experience with delicious food and attentive service. Entertainment Team: Mans and Marwan, who brought so much fun and energy, making each day more enjoyable! Every aspect of our stay exceeded expectations—the food was delicious, the entertainment was engaging, and the staff truly made us feel welcome. You can´t really fault anything in this hotel. We visited this place at the beginning of March 2025. Hotel staff is seriously very welcoming doing everything they can so you can to feel cherrished, comfy and at home. They do not ask for tips and if you tip them they share it all together. We had no stomach issues, reasonable selection of food. At least once in your stay you can visit Italian restaurant for "special" dinner. Guests were mixture of Czechs, Slovaks, English, French, German and Polish aircrew who change daily. This time of year there were hardly any kids. My favourite staff were Ibrahim from pool bar and Ahmed Saif from restaurant. Beds are very comfy, some international programs on TV, decent sized rooms, heated pool. There are some sports activities during the day and evenings entertainment possibilities.

Lovely week of winter sun. A small intimate hotel, clean, food very good every day. Staff very attentive, especially Ibrahim at pool bar 2, Zak in the main restaurant and Amhed at The Little bar. Beach area a short walk away was nice, again great service for drinks and food from the sister hotel. Evening entertainment on several nights was very good. Beer, red wine and Gin all very quaffable. Booked to return next January already.

We stayed here for a week mid January. From arrival until departure the staff were amazing, felt very well looked after, nothing was a bother for any of them. The entertainment team were amazing and so friendly, always taking the time to speak to us. We were not keen on the French entertainment because we couldn’t understand a word they were saying, we did mention it to guest relations and she said usually twice a week there is French entertainment. Everything was very clean, Rooms spacious but could do with a freshen up. We found the food was okay, we were glad to use the snack bar at lunchtime to have a change from the buffet. It was really nice being able to walk to the Jaz casa del mar across the road and use the beach, bar, have lunch. Mody from entertainment was our favourite. We went to the marina one evening and had a bottle of wine and wow it made us realise drinks in the hotel were not strong.
