A wonderful experience that will be a lifelong memory. We chose this resort because we fell in love with the bathtub overlooking the emerald-green sea. It was pure bliss to gaze at the breathtaking ocean all day for four days. The house reef was amazing, and we enjoyed snorkeling every day—we even got to see sharks! For dining, we tried both Celsius and SALT, and both were delicious. The dinner at Celsius was quite generous in portion, so we thought lunch might not be necessary!

Все цены озвучиваются без такс, а потом получаешь приятное удивление, так же только когда выставили счет поняли что баги от номера платное, не вопрос стоимости. Просто не приятно, когда люди скрывают. Очень навязчивое обслуживание, 10 раз спросят как вам и тд. А когда попросишь вместо сала в пасту карбонару положить бекон, говорят извините мы не можем. Риф живой акулы есть, поплавать с акулами няньками от острова 40 минут плыть.

What a special place. We didn't want to leave. Rooms; spacious, light with private pools. We had an Ocean Bungalow over the water, loved it. Felt private and a place to spend our days going from pool to ocean to day bed. Staff; warm and welcoming. Food; breakfast was a win. Salt for dinner was our favorite, ate there two out of three nights, Japanese focus, food was fantastic and you can watch the sharks swimming around and under the restaurant, so really it's dinner AND a show! The bar by the pool for afternoon drinks on large round day beds is perfect after a long snorkel. House reef is very good, lots of different fish and reef sharks in just a meter or two of water, an easy snorkel and a lot to see. Vibe - It's luxury but very laid back and low key.

The most green island we’ve ever stayed on Maldives, size is also optimal, it’s enough to have a walk in shadow of palm trees and not too many people around. It has own reef, beautiful and alive, you can find different fishes, rays, sharks. Facilities like kayak with transparent bottom and SPA are highly recommended. I would also admit the food, it’s delicious no matter what restaurant you go to. Special thanks to our butler Juma for outstanding service!

Huvafen Fushi in the Maldives is an absolute paradise! From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by unique beauty of the island and luxurious villa. What made our stay truly exceptional was our attentive butler, Juma. His dedication to ensuring we had the perfect experience was remarkable! Juma was very attentive to our needs, from arranging private dining experiences to providing us with all we asked. The resort itself boasts incredible amenities, including an exquisite underwater spa, beautiful dining options, and various water sports (transparent kayak was an amazing experience). The sunset views from the beach and sunset bar are remarkable .

A great find in the Maldives. I found this place using SLH site. It exceeded all our expectations! Service including our personal butler Samir was over the top. From the airport greeter and transport to the private atoll to the bungalows and gourmet food we Huvafen Fushi we were totally satisfied.

It was 10 wonderful days on Huvafen Fushi! The bungalows are newly renovated, spacious, clean and the view is magnificent. The staff is always friendly and helpful and the general manager is very attentive. On the island you have the feeling that you are alone - so you enjoy great privacy. Last point i would like to mention the great food. Very high quality and large selection. The resort leaves nothing to be desired, i would definitely come back!

A Perfect Escape After a Nightmare Experience We stayed at Huvafen Fushi from February 16, 2024, for eight nights, and I can confidently say that it was an absolute dream. The resort is small, idyllic, and quaint, offering the perfect blend of luxury and tranquility. One thing that truly stood out is how well-maintained the resort is. Although Huvafen Fushi is over 20 years old, it has been beautifully kept and regularly renovated, so you would never feel that it’s an older property. Everything feels luxurious, and well taken care of. Another incredible aspect of this resort is that it is a natural island. The scenery is breathtaking, with stunning sandbanks within the resort itself, located closer to the water villas. The beach was absolutely perfect, with pristine, soft sand and crystal-clear waters. It felt like a true tropical paradise. Due to our very last-minute reservation, the hotel was already at full capacity and couldn’t accommodate us in a beach villa for the entire stay. Instead, we spent six nights in a water villa, which was stunning. For our last two nights, the resort surprised us with an upgrade to a three-bedroom beach villa instead of the regular beach villa we had originally booked. This unexpected and generous gesture truly made our stay even more special. Our experience at Huvafen Fushi was even more meaningful because we arrived after a distressing and frustrating situation. We had originally booked our stay at Vakkaru Maldives through a travel agency called Luxury Lagoon Holiday. Unfortunately, we were scammed—despite having paid in full, we arrived at the airport only to find that our room had been given away. Vakkaru was fully booked and could only offer us a residence at double the price, refusing to let us board the transfer plane unless we paid again. We were stranded at the airport for eight hours, ignored by the travel agency, and left searching for another hotel. It was truly a blessing in disguise that we ended up at Huvafen Fushi, where we were received with warmth and exceptional service. The staff were incredibly kind and accommodating, ensuring that we felt welcome and cared for from the moment we arrived. The food was outstanding, and I have to give a special mention to their amazing burgers—some of the best I’ve ever had! Despite the chaos that led us there, our stay at Huvafen Fushi turned into an incredible experience. I cannot recommend this resort enough, and I am beyond grateful for how they turned a stressful situation into an unforgettable vacation. We will definitely be returning in the future!

Since 2016, we’ve now holidayed in five Luxury resorts in the Maldives, so I can’t help but compare them based on my personal preferences. In my view, Huvafen rates very highly – and I would definitely return there (except for the fact there are about 150 other resorts in the Maldives to try out if I could!) Competition is fierce – and Luxury resorts know they must offer high quality, consistent, unique experiences at a good price – so what did Huvafen provide that made it good for me? Highlights The resort is in the North Malé Atoll, about 26 kilometers northwest of Malé – making the speedboat ride from Malé a short trip - only 30-35 minutes long. This is great for us, having already endured an almost 8-hour flight from Australia, a 4-hour transit wait in Singapore, then a 5-hour flight to Malé. The sooner we are lying in the sun by the pool conquering jetlag, the better! We love snorkeling. When in the Maldives, we snorkel at least twice a day. Rough waves on the beach entry to the main snorkeling area the first day made it a bit unpleasant, so we snorkeled from the stairs of our over-water villa. We were led to believe the coral and marine life may not be as good as the main area, but it exceeded those expectations. It was some of the best snorkeling we’ve experienced on a Maldivian house reef. I had a great deal of fun photographing fish, then using Google Lens to identify them all. We also valued the fact there were stairs down from the deck into the water – not a ladder, as is often the case with over-water bungalows at some other resorts. Many tropical luxury resorts claim to have a “butler” service – and they often do not provide much real assistance. Our Huvafen butler Naadi, was outstanding. He was most likely managing five or six other resort guests as well, and he never failed to deal with all our requests promptly and effectively. He met us each morning as we approached the restaurant area and walked with us to breakfast, which enabled us to make restaurant bookings and discuss other things we may want during the day. Our stay was very much improved by his attention to detail. Small items in the room were really enjoyed. There are many thoughtful examples: the champagne on ice on arrival, the portable Bluetooth Bose speaker that could be taken out onto the deck to listen to music, the little sweet cakes left in the room by Housekeeping at turndown in the evening, the fresh ice in the bucket, the beach-bag to take stuff to the pool area, flotation vests for snorkeling, a torch, the large glass panel in the lounge room floor to watch the large fish below catch insects in the light at night, the hand shower on the deck for post-snorkel rinse offs, plentiful international-plug electrical outlets, the large bathroom and the spacious wardrobes. We relished the reliable in-room Wi-Fi that extended onto the outside deck. We each have a phone, iPad and laptop, and expect to be able to use them seamlessly. Most resorts claim to offer “h

Rooms - Ocean View Over the Water is definitely worth the extra money. Perfect layout, incredible sunset view and access to the reef Service - AMAZING. A special mention to Naadi (our butler) and Ahmed (who made up our room). The thoughtful nighttime pictures were extra special - see photo. Naadi was born to work in hospitality - he strikes the perfect balance between being attentive but not being overbearing. Food - me and my fiancé were just joking how much we’re missing it. Acai bowl and personalised fruit plates at breakfast were a highlight. There’s something for everyone at Celsius and Salt is actually great value for money Gym - a little dated but has everything you need and was generally very quiet. Bugs - ZERO bites (even though I’m sure regnant and am supposed to be a big magnet) Spa - I didn’t get chance to use this but it must be good as everyone on the island seemed really proud of it Reef - was a little difficult to access as I’m pregnant and the water was shallow but my fiancé had no problem. A little tip would be to include some more info and the best way to navigate the reef to get to the edge in the rooms.
