The Elephant Camp

This place is absolutely incredible from the staff, to the food, the location, the atmosphere, and just overall experience! This is a trip we'll never forget! We are so sad to leave! Special shout out to Marshal and Big T, we will miss it here!! Thank you all!!

I’m going to be spoiled forever. The Elephant Camp pampered me and waited on me like I was a queen. Upon arrival I was greeted by introductions to the staff who brought me a drink and a clean cloth to wipe my hands. They were unfailingly polite, courteous and friendly and always ready to assist. I had a very ample climate controlled tent that featured both a shower and a bath tub, lovely living room, and comfy bed along with a deck and outdoor plunge pool. Meals were first-rate—this was a five star experience. Activities were seamlessly coordinated with someone always waiting to take me and pick me up. My activities encompassed everything from Chobe game drives to a guided Vic Falls walking tour to a sunset cruise and an opportunity to interact with elephants. I strongly recommend a stay at Elephant Camp.

Words can’t explain how special this trip was for me. I decided to do a solo birthday trip to Zimbabwe. I selected The Elephant Camp for my accommodations during the entire trip (some people I met stayed at 2-3 different hotels/resorts during their trip). Your resort stay includes so many amenities such as pick up from the airport, transportation everywhere, entrance into a lot of the sites, food, and a full bar. The camp site itself is somewhat of a mini safari. Little monkeys, kudus, elephants roam the property freely. They are not wild or dangerous. They seem to be afraid of us so will not approach you compromise your space. If there is an activity you want to do that is not listed, they will assist you in making that happen. Your accommodations are great. Clean, sturdy tents with AC & hot, powerful showers. The tent also includes a tub and a wading pool in the back. The kitchen and chef are very accommodating. You can eat in between scheduled meals. I was so impressed with this place that I am coming back with a group for my 50th bday.
