Hwange Safari Lodge is a wonderful place for family, team building and for individual relaxation or when looking for safari experience in Zimbabwe.

Hwange Safari lodge is located in an excellent location for wildlife viewing. The animals, our literally, on the grounds, as it is immediately adjacent to the national park. The parks and resorts have no fences, so the animals roam from one place to the other unobstructed. On our way to the resort, we observed spring bucks, warthog, elephants, baboons, and zebra just to name a few.. The staff is incredibly attentive and very friendly. .You are met with fresh juice and a warm hand towel to freshen up. The resort is open air with decking that overlooks a large plain and watering hole. We observed elephants, baboons, Impala and other wildlife from both our bedroom balcony, as well as the observation desks and restaurants. The food is served buffet style and is excellent, offering many local dishes prepared in a traditional manner. The rooms are well appointed with mosquito netting over the bed, in room, coffee and tea and a small refrigerator.. Everything about this resort is spectacular and I would highly recommend it.

Wow, what a magical place. The hotel is recently renovated to an exceptional standard and well appointed. The staff are super friendly and welcoming creating a wonderful atmosphere in this very special place. We stayed here in July 2025 as family of 4 with children in their late teens and had a fabulous 3 days relaxing in the peace and tranquility surrounded by wildlife coming through the nearby water hole. Highly recommend.

Had a great few days here. Spotted loads of different animals thanks to driver spence. Saw very mixed scenery too. Great to go out at different times times of the day- worth staying. Enjoyed the decor and room with great view - though it’s not that close by the waterhole- bring glasses. Food al carte better than the buffet put on when groups stayed.

This was our first ever safari and we hugely enjoyed the experience. The game driving staff couldn’t do enough for us and went above and beyond to try to locate the wildlife. The lodge facilities are brilliant.
