This is our 5th stay at this fantastic B&B as soon as they open the door you are made very welcome it’s run by Martyn and Elizabeth the rooms are spotless clean and the breakfast is fantastic all locally grown produce and they always show an interest in your stay and were you are going on that day or you can ask them were to go around Southampton and your on the door step to the new forest you get a front door key and room key they is a guest fridge you can use I would definitely recommend this place and looking forward to our next stay once again thanks Steven & Margaret

Welcoming hosts, nothing too much trouble, warm, clean rooms, great location for New Forest and great public transport to Southampton. Breakfast is amazing- huge choice, tasty, well presented. Thanks.

This B&B Is fantastic place to stay we stay here so we don’t put any of the family out this is run by Elizabeth and Martyn has soon the front door opened and Elizabeth say hello Steven & Margaret welcome back it’s just a nice little B&B very quiet and very clean and they make you very welcome as soon as you enter they take an interest in what you are doing or going and the breakfast is fantastic just sets you up for the day this is our 5th visit and I can definitely recommend this place it’s in walking distance from hythe Marina were you can go and watch the cruise ships and big tanker ships coming in and out had many good times down there what a wonderful time we have had

Stayed here and regretted it greatly. The gentleman was wonderful and very helpful and courteous but his wife was something else! They charged my card for a booking I did not confirm, effectively charging an additional £156.00 as they had my card details from my earlier stay. I had merely asked about availability as I was considering staying in the area longer but i did not confirm - but this lady decided I had, so took money from my account without my agreement. I had a telephone conversation to try to resolve but she hung up on me. Not very good customer service - to say the least!!!

This B&B is fantastic this is the fifth time staying here from the moment they open the door to leaving they make you feel like one of the family it’s run by Elizabeth and Martyn a lovely couple they show you to your room nothing is too much trouble they take an interest in we’re you are going our your plans for the day the breakfast is amazing we go down to see family you can come and go has you please the rooms are good nice and clean and up to date with all the mod cons and we are looking at going down again you can go to see all the cruise ships and the big tankers and I mean big at the marina harbour I would definitely recommend this place to stay

We have just checked out after a two night stay. Martin and Elizabeth really do make you feel very welcome into their home. We stayed in room five, the room itself had everything you could need, tea, coffee machine, hairdryer, fluffy towels, local toiletries, a comfy bed and nice clean linens. Breakfast, there was a choice and we went for the full English- delicious and served with a huge pot of tea and orange juice. Thank you for a great stay.

Location is great. Breakfast is great. Bedroom was small with little storage space - OK for 1 or 2 nights only. No rooms down stairs. Martin & Elizabeth are welcoming and pleasant but very inflexible. Regular checkout time is 10:00. We asked for a late checkout to 11:00 or so but they were busy with their own appointments, had to leave the house so we were out of luck.

Run by an equally lovely couple who were very friendly and extremely helpful. The location couldn't be better as it is just minutes from the charming Hythe ferry, pier train and some great opportunities for good food and drink.
