People were lovely on arrival, sadly when we got up to use the shower it was cold hardly working so couldn't be used toilet didn't flush well could also smell drains, breakfast to expensive for what you got, shame as we had such a great welcoming, won't be returning.

Pub, restaurant and hotel, next to busy junction. The rooms show their age, the wooden floors are going up and down. But the shower was recently updated. Main problem is that after hours anyone can get into the hotel floor from the outside, so does not feel very safe

Was a cheep hotel, and ok for one night and close to the channel tunnel. Bar &restaurant closes on Sunday at 7. Had something nasty left in our bathroom bin, couldn't complain as we left quite early, left a note, so hopefully the female who left her used tampon in the bin thinks twice before doing it again..gross!

Overall the room was pleasant but noisy, clean and tidy. We booked dinner for four and had a really nice meal. We paid in advance for breakfast but unfortunately it was quite disappointing. We had one full and one vegetarian opposition and sadly the meal was very disappointing. Hard fried eggs, overcooked sausages both vegetarian and pork, tomatoes raw etc. No offer of marmalade or jam and the tea must be the cheapest option you could get. Not the greatest service.

Had my wedding reception there. What can I say but thank you !!! Buffet was fantastic. Staff were so helpful and could not of done more for the guests. Honestly the customer service was brilliant. Great location. Nice gardens and a really friendly atmosphere. Booked two rooms. Good value and the guest loved it. Thank you once again

The room was booked by my employer for a one night stay. I arrived to check in at around 6.30pm and was asked if I wanted breakfast. I confirmed that I did and I was asked to pay £12 in advance, which I did. I confirmed that I would be down for breakfast at 8 am. The room was clean and pleasant enough and I had a comfortable night's sleep. When I went for breakfast I was greeted by the housekeeper who offered me tea. I then heard her on the phone to the pub's owner, saying there was no Chef. She asked the owner to speak to me, but she wouldn't, leaving the embarrassed housekeeper to apologise and inform me that despite me paying in advance that there would be no breakfast. I was promised a refund, but the housekeeper wasn't authorised to refund my card payment. I was asked to leave my details to be refunded but by the end of the day I am still awaiting my refund.

Such a friendly welcoming place to stay. The landlord and landlady are so welcoming. The staff and also their rooms and food are spot on.can’t have stayed at anywhere better.we definitely be going back there to stay

Well what can I say , what a fab overnight stay we had Bill & Debbie could not have made us more welcome we arrived as guests and left as friends , nothing was too much trouble , room was clean and comfortable had everything we needed , several breakfast options available and excellent value , we also stayed for Sunday lunch and I cannot fault it great value and generous portions , Bill and Debbie only took over about 3 months ago and seem to have gathered a fabulous team around them , special shout out to Kiera what a little sweetheart , good luck to you all , cannot wait to return , thank you for a great stay best wishes rRoy & Caron

The Staff were very helpful and very friendly as was the manager Billy, Minor problems arose but were dealt with quickly and politely. The food was excellent and of good value as was the Drink available, Would visit again.
