Verde Hotel

Arrived early hours,lovely young lad ran down steps to get our cases,quickly checked us in,we only saw him twice more so assumed he had left?Room right above Red lion,not good ,full of people that think they can sing,but you get used to the noise and if you can't beat um you can join umRoom very clean,excellent shower(best ever)Beach area lovely comfy beds.Food very repetative meatballs/chicken,one night they had some nice chicken portions but they ran out and replaced with cheap chicken escalopes, often they ran out of things including pepsi max ,brandy&raki.Sunbeds to close together.Reception males very helpful. Now management ,Anna is lovely she acknowledges everyone unlike some of the other non uniform staff?We had a couple of Room issues soon rectified by Anna.Personally the hotel seems to have issues which need amending and the bar drinks need attention ,not a great choice.The outside eating area is nice and and tables were cleared quickly.This is a long but honest review.

The Hotel is clean and comfortable. There is always something to eat even for the fussiest of eaters. The staff are all very helpfull and friendly as specially the beautiful Anna who really made our time here extra special. The Hotel management listen to the guests and continuously strive for excellence.

You will either enjoy or hate this hotel …. In our case we enjoyed it, the Hotel Verde says its is 4 star ⭐️, Jet 2 have down graded it for their own purposes to 3 star ⭐️ which I feel is accurate, my opinion it is an average 3 star hotel, everything about it screams 3 star, from the rooms, the repetitive food offerings, even food quality represented 3 star, though I would say during our stay you could see improved efforts with the food offerings, there is always several choices available sometimes there were bits and pieces of everything on my plate other times not so much but overall we never went hungry at any meal. Drinks available were pretty average but fine, I would say that they ran out of Coke Zero a few times and this does need addressed as sugar free drinks are required by so many people now a days for dietary and health reasons. Rooms are fine for 2 people with a decent shower and smallish balcony with decent views of the local area and pubs (which are noisy till around 2am most nights, after a few nights you do get used to it and it’s not as noticeable), Entertainment pretty well non existent, I get that a lot of people will go out in the evenings but it would be nice to have 3 or 4 shows a week between 9-10pm. Staff in general are friendly, we reported 3 small issues, 2 of which were actioned immediately though the other seemed to be ignored even after reporting it a 2nd time. Big disappointment was the pool area, sun beds and little tables cleaning, this was only done on 1 occasion in our 10 days, the dining tables and dining area was however kept fairly clean and tidy, the swimming pool never seemed to be cleaned or checked however this may have been done just never seen it happen!! White sun beds definitely need to have mats available for next season as they are terribly hard and uncomfortable. The reception and pool side toilets never seemed to have paper towel in the machine for drying hands, this needs to be monitored more closely and addressed accordingly, putting 1 roll a day in the machine isn’t good enough. Over all we had a decent holiday, probably better than we expected considering all the previous negative reviews, it’s in a great location, yes it’s in a noisy area, so be aware if booking, it’s 3 star so don’t be expecting 4/5 star experience, there is a good chance we will return again next year if we decide to visit Icmeler again. **Top tip bring a small extension cable for your electronics chargers.

We arrived at The Verde hotel in Icmeler for our all inclusive holiday. Reading the negative reviews before hand I was a bit sceptical. We arrived in the early hours, we were took up to our room, which on arrival I thought its not the biggest room I've stayed in, but it was fine for just 2 of us. Next morning we woke to the most fantastic veiw of the mountains around Icmeler. We went down to breakfast and the food was amazing, plenty to choose from, fresh omlettes made in front of you,. It was a bit ovwhelming as so much to choose from. Throughout the day the food just got better, the salad bar is huge, always fresh meat and fish available. Please don't expect English breakfast, your going to Turkey, eat Turkish. Although there is always beans, mushrooms and bacon available and eggs of your choice. There is loads of choice and always, chips and burgers and pizza etc.. Drinks are great too, juice bar, fresh coffee, Efes, spirits and cocktails, the bar lad is lovely and tries his best to keep you smiling. The pool is lovely, plenty of sunbeds and seating around the pool and the jacuzzi is so relaxing. We tried the spa that is joined to the hotel, we had a sauna, scrub, bubble wash then a fantastic oil massage which was £20 each. I've been to many spa's and that is the cheapest I have ever paid for the same standard as the top hotels in Icmeler. There is also a barber and beautician on site, and if you fancy a tattoo out there, he will design one for you, or do a design of your choice, he is very reasonably priced. Overall our stay at The Verde was amazing, it just proved to me, yes read the reviews, but try it, then make your own opinion, everybody is different. Lastly, I want to Thank Anna who is the Customer relations lady, she is a fantastic asset to the hotel. She is kind and friendly and if you ever have a problem, she will go out of her way to sort it out for you, a pure star.✨️✨️✨️. Thank you to everybody at The Verde for a great holiday.

Just came back after staying 11 nights in the verde first impressions hotel is big and clean rooms were good size , bathroom was on smaller size but functional, food was terrible we went all inclusive mainly for drinks but only thing we seemed to eat was salad and chips we ate out every night, staff all so polite and friendly, rooms got cleaned everyday, pool area is nice very clean and plenty of sunbeds, pool bar food and quick service, can have spirits beer and wine which was good, location was perfect close to everything , Irish bar is opposite and we stayed in room facing Irish could hear the music but went to sleep ok, would recommend great for money but if your a fussy eater and wanting to stay in hotel maybe not the hotel for you but you could get by, red lion pub is next to hotel and get 10% off your bill they do karaoke & food. Will definitely come back in future, worth the money

Although the hotel is clean the food is very poor and repetitive . We arrived Sunday 1st September 6am after a very long g day from the UK . The coach driver dropped off at several hotels and at two of them it turns out were the wrong ones . There was no rep accompanying the bus as apparently this isn’t the norm anymore . We waited 45 minutes at the airport for other passengers . Once we arrived at the hotel we were met by a member of staff who gave us an information overload which at that time of the morning is not welcome . This information should be given the day after by your rep but again there was no TUI rep welcome meeting at this hotel . We have only had breakfast once as we don’t usually have it but always try . We won’t be going again . There are limited plug sockets in the room . There is tea making facilities but we were given only 1cup between us both and no sachets of milk . I did ask at reception and for an extra blanket ( one thin one per room ) none was forthcoming . We were unaware that there was a beach section belonging to the hotel until we noticed the rep surrounded by other guests complaining . You have to pay for the WiFi and drinks on the beach . I would have thought that as it is classed as part of the hotel and we are all inclusive that we wouldn’t be paying . Drinks are watered down either that or very weak to begin with. There are supposed to be two bars and there is only the pool side one . A positive for our trip was that on day 1 we had a full pamper session downstairs in the spa , this cost £64 pp however the information the hotel gives you says it’s free ???? The staff are attentive and friendly and the rooms are cleaned regularly but not to a very high standard . The paperwork we were given says this is a 4* hotel. This doesn’t even warrant a 3* rating . Apparently it has been down graded Pool cleaning never happened in all the time we were there . The steps into the pool are not very visible and several people slipped and fell I cluding myself Too many dinners not enough umbrella’s for shade Cleaning of the rooms not brilliant Steps into the pool
