Reen Resorts Aanavilasam Plantation Thekkady

We had an amazing time at the Reen Resort. The rooms are very spacious and have everything one needs. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They helped us organize a boating tour and drove us to a view point. Also the waiters are extremely friendly. We ate at the hotel every night and enjoyed it every day. The breakfast offers both Indian and western breakfast. We tried them all and they all were amazing. We also enjoyed the gym with a great view over the Cardamom plants. One highlight was the full body massage. What was very helpful for us was the help we got in organizing transportation to the Thekkady. The staff members talked to the Rikscha drivers and helped us setting the price. Overall we would love to come back.

I stayed for 2 nights in a premium suite (88 square meter) with balcony. The suite was well designed & comfortable. The resort atmosphere is so mesmerizing ! So misty, so dreamy. The place is serene and the suites are well maintained. This place is perfect for honeymooners. We were 5 ladies traveling together. We had different types of rooms, there are 6 suites only. New 6 more are being constructed now. There is a Wooden bridge leading me to the lobby from my suite, I feel like walking into a movie. The weather was so smoothing and pleasant in September. The restaurant will prepare your food upon request, it will take the chef 45 - 50 minutes preparation time. Hence, it is better to inform the chef before hand, to save waiting time. See photos

Reen at Aanavilasam, Thekkady, is by far the best property we have stayed at in Thekkady. This is my fifth resort in Thekkady, and I must admit that the overall experience was worth every penny. The property is located slightly off Thekkady town, making it perfect for getting closer to nature. Check-in was quick, and we received a very warm welcome from the team. The property has around six rooms, with plans to add more. The deluxe suite rooms, situated behind the reception, are impeccably maintained. The rooms are spacious and include a small living area with a sofa and a TV. The bathroom was a highlight for me, thanks to its size and the thoughtfulness of its design. I appreciated the bed offering two pillow options, including a set of memory foam pillows. We ordered some snacks to the room, which were decent, and we were fortunate enough to see a deer pass by. The food at the restaurant was good, and the dinner, made to order, was excellent. Mr. Santosh, who served us, was very prompt and took great care of us. The breakfast had limited but decent options . The property also features a nice swimming pool next to the restaurant. The team went the extra mile by cleaning our cars at check-out. Overall, it was an absolutely delightful experience, and our family of seven thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Superb resort with excellent hospitality, full of plantation and green , big and clean room, definitely worth paying and wud recommend to choose this resort and enjoy your vacation, slight outside town but beautiful and thanks in duty receptionist who helped us to take around plantation and explained about.

Very homely experience. Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay with family. I would recommend this place to everyone. The nature and weather here is perfect. Food is to perfection. They had setup campfire for us and it was all to our satisfaction.
