Tui Blue Makarska - Adults Only

We stayed here for a long weekend for our honeymoon - we can't fault this hotel. The staff were so friendly and made us feel so welcome. Our room was spotless with an incredible view. We spent a day at the beach which was 15 euros for two sunbeds. The sunset bar is absolutely beautiful and we rented a bali bed through the app which made the weekend even more special. Cool not recommend this place enough, thank you all for making our stay one to remember!

Truly a wonderful quiet get away in a beautiful village by the sea, the food and service was superb. The bar staff were exceptional, the cocktails were fabulous. Ivana the hotel manager could not have been more helpful. The Al carte restraint was amazing the service out of this world and the food was fabulous. Super quiet relaxing experience, Mary from the spa is worth a visit. So much so we went 3 times in a week! We will be back. Over all for a couple in there 40’s it was just what we needed. We could not fault a thing, Thank you all so much.

We loved every minute of staying here We are a couple in our 60s and it was so quiet and peaceful there right on the beach .Not a place for people looking for nightlife The room was big and spotless and cleaned every day The centrally controlled AC could have been a little bit cooler but I adjusted as the week progressed The bed was really comfortable and we had 2 really nice supportive pillows each We had our own fridge and tea kettle and one night after 9 my kettle died and the lovely lady from house keeping brought a new one within minutes We opted for half board and both breakfast and dinner offered an amazing buffet. I am a vegetarian, and even though most of the main dishes were meat or fish, I had no problem any time making up plates for myself with delicious salads , fruit , pizza , pasta as well as sides of vegetables and potatoes or fries One mystery about the dinner was we had to buy water separately Even tho the tap water is drinkable, there was no access to any type of beverage at all We had to pay extra. It seemed strange to provide so much food but nothing at all to drink All the staff members were very helpful and gave the appearance of being genuinely interested in h providing the best service Thankyou to everyone at TUI blu Makarska

Worst Hotel Ever! Not only did the wardrobe break, it was infested with moths. Then to make matters worse our balcony was covered in birds nests with birds flying in and out every day and every night. The birds pooped all over our balcony and all over our wet swimming costumes. They would fly into the room if we left the door open. The staff are rude and aggressive. The restaurant is worse than poor. It’s unclean. The staff are very sexist so if you are going to this hotel I suggest you don’t go as a female on your own. TUI rep was very unhelpful and not understanding. None of the other TUI hotels have birds nests just this one. They wouldn’t let us move rooms. They offered us to love hotels initially and then went back on the offer. The hotel is in the middle of nowhere and you have to drag your luggage up a hill. I wish we had read previous reviews before wasting our money. I would never ever book with TUI ever again. Worst travel company out there

Lovely outside areas to relax - beach and pools. Quiet and peaceful hotel. Choice of water sports activities which are easily accessible. Nice bar staff in the pool areas and lobby area. Just a special mention for Josip who was working in the Culinarium - he always greeted us with the biggest smile and had such great customer service skills. Thank you Josip for making us feel so welcome.

Spent a lovely relaxing week here at the end of July. The hotel is in a great location and we loved that the beach was right on our doorstep. The sea was just gorgeous. The whole place has a really relaxed vibe and it didnt feel touristy. We didn’t pay for a sea view room but were pleasantly surprised to have a view looking across the bay of Igrane. The only downside was the inefficient AC in our room. The unit in the room was simply not fit for purpose given the heat in Croatia and we spent the week sleeping on top of the covers, waking up in the night hot and bothered. We raised the issue of the AC on the first day and they simply said that was the best it would be. Unfortunately despite a really enjoyable week at this hotel, this would be enough to put us off returning for a second stay.
