“We had a wonderful stay at The Rocky Cove B&B. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed — the hosts were warm, friendly, and happy to help with anything we needed. Our room was spotless, with a fresh, modern feel and all the comforts you’d want for a relaxing break. In the morning we were treated to a delicious, hearty breakfast with generous portions that set us up perfectly for the day. The location is fantastic — just a short walk to the beach and conveniently close to the town centre, shops, and restaurants. It was the perfect base for exploring the area. We’d happily stay here again and highly recommend it to others.”

Lovely two night stay at the Rocky Cove The owners told us in advance they couldn’t be there on our arrival and gave us very clear instructions about how to access our room They also made an effort to say hello the next morning which was nice of them Very central location - with various parking options close by (payable) Room was large, clean and comfortable - bathroom included both a shower and a bath Breakfast (which is an extra cost) was nice Generally a really nice stay and I would recommend to others

Excellent communication before our 2 night stay, explaining check in procedures & various car parking options. Great welcoming from hosts, showing us to our lovely clean room with plenty of hanging space, comfy bed & large shower with soap & shampoo. Position is ideal for all that Ilfracombe has to offer. Would certainly recommend. Thanks Nicki & Jonah.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We found Nicki and Jonah to be friendly and welcoming. The accommodation was clean and modern with all the facilities we would require. A great location. A good selection of choices for breakfast. Jonah cooks a lovely full English! Nothing was too much trouble. Thank you both for a lovely stay!

We had a lovely one night mid-week stay at Rocky Cove B&B. We were able to get parking right outside & it is perfectly located to explore Ilfracombe by foot. Our room was very comfortable & we will definitely be back for a longer stay next time. Thanks for all the tips on where to drink, eat and visit in North Devon - they were the perfect hosts.

We felt wonderfully cared for and looked after by the owners. I would not hesitate to book here again. The customer service before we came was first class and remained so throughout our stay. Jonah appeared as if by magic as soon as bags needed bringing up or down. The rooms were beautiful and so well equipped.

We arrived for an overnight stay just when they'd reopened after a winter break, but we wouldn't have known if Jonah the owner hadn't mentioned it in passing: it was all absolutely seamless. This is a lovely B&B. The location is brilliant, right by the coast, and easy to stroll along to the harbour or into town to explore/find a pub/find a restaurant. Parking was very easy (we got a space right outside, and there's a carpark literally opposite, over the road). Jonah cooked us a perfect breakfast (our room was so quiet that we overslept...). Very attractive feel to the whole place, excellent ensuite bathroom and a very comfortable bed. We arrived a bit later than we expected, even though we were only coming from south Devon but Jonah didn't bat an eyelid (you can't get to Ilfracombe in a hurry: don't believe any estimate from Google maps - whatever your satnav claims, it'll take longer than that!). Wish we could have stayed longer, and are hoping to go back.

Had the best stay here. We were met on arrival by Jonah , the host. Our room was pristine and comfy . Decor was bright and fresh. Nothing was too much trouble and breakfast was very nice and cooked to perfection. Jonah gave us some great tips on places to visit , without his help we would have missed out on the breathtaking valley of the rocks and the cliff railway. We will definitely visit again .
