Vilatoro Guest House

This guest house was one of the most beautiful places we’ve stayed anywhere in Brazil. Fernando and Pedro are amazing hosts, and Patricia was a wonderful chef and awesome source of Ilhabela insights. Our room and the views were wonderful and the entire house is spectacular. The proximity to Veloso and Curral beaches was perfect. Couldn’t provide a higher recommendation and hope to visit again asap!

This guest house was truly paradise. From the second we arrived we felt at home. The whole guest house is so beautiful and well decorated. It feels like a luxury hotel. We stayed in a sea fscing suite that had the most amazing views. Fernando was so nice and accommodating. He gave us great recommendatioms for everything we wanted to do on the island. Don't hesitate to book - you won't regret it!

We wanted to wait until the end of our stay here, but just a couple of days in we felt compelled to leave a review as it had been such a brilliant stay already. Let’s start with the house - the photos do not do it justice, it is impeccably designed, with beautiful furniture and exquisite taste. It is very stylish and really distinctive. I would much rather stay here than the other high-end place on the island, for instance the Wyndham Hotel. Vilatoro has a much more boutique, unique feel and for us was much more memorable than any other similar 5* hotel. It is also a little bit further out and therefore much quieter and relaxing than being on the main area / near a busy road - which is one of the most charming things about Ilhabela and really what we came for - relaxing surrounded by the beautiful wildlife and stunning views of the ocean. Then the staff/service - Fernando was just the most helpful, thoughtful, kind person you could hope to meet. Genuinely just a few examples include him helping us get a car, arranging a massage, ordering food when we felt like staying in because the house was so nice, cutting fresh beautiful flowers, suggesting nice restuarants and beaches. He even offered to pick us up at the port when we arrived late and there were no taxis. The breakfast and food offering was also really well done - it’s simple, but done excellently - the omelette is sensational, and the afternoon sponge cakes very fluffy and light. Cannot recommend enough - it vastly exceeded our expectations and was the best place we stayed at during our two weeks in Brazil. We can’t wait to visit again. Maybe we’ll also ask for interior design tips!

Os proprietários são os mais queridos do mundo... Além de todo conforto da casa e quartos, tudo muito bem cuidado e de bom gosto. Pati faz um café que me fez voltar ao tempo da casa da minha madrinha. Me senti em casa, queria ficar e morar naquele cenário dos sonhos obrigada meninos!

Minha estadia na guest house foi simplesmente incrível! Desde o primeiro momento, fomos recebidos com muita simpatia pelo Fernando e pelo Pedro. O Fernando, então, é um caso à parte – ele simplesmente não existe! Sempre disponível, responde às mensagens a qualquer hora, dá ótimas sugestões de restaurantes e faz de tudo para que a experiência seja perfeita. A casa é extremamente aconchegante, e a vista é de tirar o fôlego! Um lugar perfeito para relaxar e aproveitar cada momento. Além disso, a Patrícia, que auxilia o Fernando, é um amor de pessoa, sempre prestativa e simpática. E um detalhe que não posso deixar de mencionar: o Fernando faz simplesmente o melhor Aperol da vida! Cada drink servido era uma experiência à parte, perfeito para brindar momentos inesquecíveis. Nos sentimos verdadeiramente em casa e, sem dúvida, voltaremos! Recomendo a todos que buscam uma hospedagem acolhedora e impecável.

A casa é perfeita, você se sente como se você estivesse na sua própria casa. O Pedro e o Fernando (donos) são super atenciosos e ótimas companhias. Para quem gosta, é essencial pedir um aperol spritz para o Fernando - acredito que tenha sido o melhor que eu já tomei. A vista é única na ilha com ótimas praias e restaurantes ao redor. Mas a casa é tão acolhedora que você não sente vontade de sair, mas para quem gosta de mar tem um píer na casa para entrar diretamente no mar. E o café da manhã é um espetáculo com uma cozinheira que faz um omelete perfeito. A minha expectativa quando cheguei era alta, mas a experiência foi ainda melhor. Recomendo para todos que querem vir para a ilha - estou saindo renovado.
