Grand Xing Imperial Hotel

Location is perfect since it’s in the city proper. Breakfast is a bit awkward since it’s in a conference room not in their restaurant, with a round table good for 10pax so you’ll be eating with others in the same table. Pillows are not comfortable but the room is huge and spacious.

Requested for an extension to check out of just 30 mins but staff didn't allow. Please dont put it on your leaflet if its not applicable.

The staff are very friendly and attentive they help you out even igs already late.

Booked for an overnight stay for the the 65th B'day of my Mother in Law. With expected guest of 60-70 were hoping for a bit consideration and Hotel friendly rules however we ended up dissapointed! Too many restrictions and totally no considerations at all. We arrived at the hotel past 2pm. Front Desk were not friendly and accommodating. Check in was bit slow as we originally requested for a room with Two Twin Beds but was re allocated/given a 1 qeen bed room at 7Flr West Wing. Were expecting a smooth check In as were a bit rush for our event will supposed to start by 5pm. The room is nice but smell bits old and Into our dismay, the aircon is hot and not functioning well. We had to call housekeeping for assistance. 2 OJT came to check the AC and just advice us to wait for 15 to 20mins before the AC totally cool. 30mins had past n still it was hot. This time we called the FO for engineerings assistance as our celebrant need to start her preparations and make up for the 5pms event. Took time to check the AC as it's still not cooling plus its Fan Swing was also not functioning. We even complained for the Bathrooms door as the locked is broken but no response or solution was given. What he said was to wait again for another 15mins. Mins past and still it's not cooling so we decided to call the F.O which immediately advice us to transfer in another room. This time the aircon is functioning but not that cool eventhou we adjust it to it's max temp. bathroom smells foul/fillthy plus the sliding door was very inconvenient as it so hard to navigate or open needs extra force enable to be open/close. Unstable wifi, no WiFi inside bathroom, TV's difficult to operate. Have to ask couple of assistance just to have it open and navigate. The biggest disappointment was we made it clear that due to our religion we strictly wish NO Pork n seafoods on our foods. And to our dismay this girl from the sales/event only reach out and inform us EXACTLY DURING OUR DINNER TIME that one of our display food contains Pork! the Celebrant herself personally requested for that specific menu whom I told her that were willing to wait couple of minutes just for them to provide another one with a chicken replacement I stead of the pork. But she seems determined on insisting it with another menu that seems convenient to them while inconvenient on us. We ended up displaying the said food with Pork Content as the guest were already lining on the buffet. Very INCOMPETITIVE and UNPROFESSIONAL. Would like to give credit and kudos to the 2 waiters for the excellent service! Wont recommend the hotel and won't diffenitely comback again.
