GOLDEN TULIP Incheon Airport Hotel & Suites

No Aircon policy in spring season. No Aircon in the room during this season although the weather turned warmer after cherry blossom season, only may open a small window. Very noisy at night. The hotel is located right in the busy main road, can’t sleep for the entire night as I can hear the noise of the road very loudly when the window is opened. The hotel provided small electric fan after complaint. Very disappointed with the service of the 4 stars hotel.

I booked a Deluxe Royal Family Room for one night. The hotel shows there is air conditioning, however that is straight false! My room was so hot, my family and I had trouble sleeping as the room was 27*C (80*F). I had the fan on full blast and set the temp to the lowest setting (16*C/ 60*F), but the room never got cooler. I called the front desk at 0400 unable to sleep, hot and bothered and was told to open a window & the hotel did not have air conditioning. It’s a shame. The beds were comfy, the location is great, but I was extremely uncomfortable and hot as ****! See the thermostat after turning everything off and opening the window.

We appreciate the hotel's proximity to Unseo subway station, just 120 meters away, facilitating quick trips to the airport and local attractions. The surrounding neighborhood boasts a variety of restaurants, supermarkets, and entertainment options, enhancing the convenience for visitors. The hotel offers a range of room types, including Standard Queen, Standard Twin, Deluxe Triple Corner, and Residence Suites. Rooms are noted for their spaciousness, cleanliness, and modern amenities such as comfortable bedding, refrigerators, and flat-screen televisions. Some rooms also feature washing machines and Coway clothes cleaning machine adding to the convenience for longer stays. Also, this hotel provides a complimentary airport shuttle service, every 10 mins in the morning which we have found to be a valuable amenity, especially for early morning flights. However, it's advisable to reserve this service at least one day in advance. Additional facilities include a 24-hour business center, on-site dining options, and a convenience store.

Breakfast is nothing to boast about. Though the room was not bad, the room I had was spacious and had windows on two sides, and the location was right next to the station. Food selection within 10 minutes walk was plentiful. They provide a bag of new towels and drinking water outside your door if you had put DND.

The hotel is close to the airport, has transfer and fairy new, so it looks pretty good from the first glance. And that all the pros that it has. The bathroom in my room was very dirty, the toilet wasn't cleaned, bedsheets had a stain on. Walls are very thin, I could hear my neighbours talking and in the morning cleaning stuff woke me up coz they kept dropping things and knocking and doing idk what. The heating system was super loud, I had to increase the volume of the movie I was watching and turn it off for the night. I also had to pay extra charge to move in 2 hours yearlier, even though it was off season and you could tell the hotel wasn't full at all. And it's okay, but I think it's not 4 stars level the hotel pretends to be. I don't think I'd book it again.

Incredibly pleased by the entire experience, especially considering what I paid. The airport shuttle arrived on time both from and to the airport; communication about how to book it and its availability were clearly presented; staff was kind and most spoke English; I was gifted a free espresso drink which I redeemed as an Americano that was made promptly hy a courteous barista with fresh shots (ie, coffee was freshly ground and the shots were added to the hot water quickly enough that they didn’t go bad). My room was clean with a nicer bathroom than expected and the view was fantastic. There is a cu convenience store on the first level and  check in and out were quick. The first floor is classy and I will definitely be coming again, at which point I hope to enjoy the lounge. The experience exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend.
