Ingram House Bed & Breakfast

This is an outstanding B & B in scenic surroundings just inside the Northumberland National Park. Adrian and Jane have lived in the house for 21 years, and know the area very well. They were very caring and helpful to my wife and I when we arrived on January 23rd, just ahead of the hurricane. We sheltered safely, stayed an extra day and were served an unforgettable dinner the following evening. They treated us like family and we will always be grateful to them ❤️🇬🇧💨🌞

A hidden gem of a guest house. We've had a wonderful restful stay. Very comfortable bed and room. We loved the silence and the dark skies, and every meal was delicious. Our hosts have been welcoming and accommodating. Thank you Jane and Adrian.

Excellent place to stay. Lovely house and garden, super-comfy bed, good bathroom (no shower though, just an attachment in the bath), great food, perfect hosts, very accommodating and full of tips and stories ! Nearest pub or restaurant is a drive away, but you can always ask Jan to make dinner! Wonderful for star gazers too!

Great stay in Ingram I loved this opportunity to stay in Ingram, at the East entrance to the Northumberland National Park. This B&B is luxurious, quiet and lovely, with great food and atmosphere. There is easy access to beautiful walks in and above the Breamish Valley. I would definitely stay here again.

We were only here one night but enjoyed our stay in this remote home. Our room was the one with the bathroom down the corridor (of which we were aware before our arrival, so no problem). The room was furnished in keeping with the house and the bed was comfortable and warm. There was an excellent choice for breakfast with homemade preserves. Jane gave us a warm welcome and booked us a table at a local pub for dinner. Her husband took good care of us in the morning as Jane was on "Granny duty" down in Surrey. I can recommend staying here for the natural feel of the area. The house itself is in a large garden and is surrounded by countryside. It is slightly off the beaten track so transport is essential.

Absolutely loved it. Yes it is in the middle of no where but what a gem!! Also the road leading in is perfectly fine it is not a dirt track but a well maintained road better than some main roads! Our hosts were very welcoming and my husband sat and had a chit chat with Janes husband [so sorry didn’t catch his name] the garden was wonderful so tranquil and the breakfast the following morning was one of the best I’ve ever had so fresh and very tasty. Just to clarify Alnwick is bigger than you think so don’t be put off that it is not in the middle of the town.
