This hotel is in a fab location right by the loch. Every member of staff is friendly, efficient and hard working. I was there on a great value deal which I'd had to rearrange twice due to a hospital stay. This was done with no issues, complaints or mistakes. The welcome was warm. The staff bent over backwards to be helpful. The food was delicious (if volcanically hot!) and breakfast was the best I've ever had in a hotel, we didn't feel rushed despite being down for the last available slot and kudos for having Marmite, so rare and always appreciated by me! An excellent experience in a great hotel. I hope to be back.

We stayed here for a night while passing through Inveraray and this hotel was satisfactory in all ways. The room was spotlessly clean although rather small, so 4 star only. But the staff and breakfast were excellent - definitely 5 star. In fact, my wife left behind a hair dryer (although there was one in the room) and the helpful staff posted it on promptly without fuss. We did not experience dinner at the Inveraray Inn so cannot comment on evening food.

Great location looking over the loch. Called in for lunch while on a casual visit. Met the amazing Charli and Sean at reception. Both are great ambassadors for the company. They were so friendly and attentive during our visit. Big shout for the kitchen brigade for their high standard of food. Menu is varied and caters for all tastes. A must visit location when in the area. Will be back for sure.

Very disappointed. We went to have some lunch and the menu stated lunch from 12pm-3pm. When we went to order at 2.45pm we were told that the service to order food was shut. The waiter was rude and said "bad luck". We then left and went to The George around the corner where we were welcomed with open arms and wonderful staff. Bad form Inverary Inn, awesome The George, Inverary!!

I visited the Inn in early July with some Americans that I was travelling with – the food was incredible as was the service – but the service went even further. One of my friends left her Passport and they could not have been more helpful – Norah especially. They posted the passport back in time for them to fly home without difficulty.

Wow wow wow. Just had the best Sirloin Scottish Steak in the UK. I have had this dish before but the meal served from here was the best. Staff were also really friendly from front of the house to the bar staff. Couldn’t do enough for the rest of customers and us.

We visited for lunch after a trip to the town. Fantastically warm welcome and the food was superb. I highly recommend the Mussels, the best we have ever tasted. The staff were all really friendly too and atmosphere was cozy. Will definitely return

We stopped here for dinner on our way to Kennacraig for the ferry. The food was excellent as was the service, with our meal arriving quickly; it was very good value too. We had the steak pie and balmoral chicken, whicb came with lovely fresh veg and mash, and recommend them both.
