Mercure Inverness Hotel recensioner

The compact room I stayed in was lovely. Comfortable, clean and warm. The staff is attentive and informative. The location is outstanding as everything is within a walking distance. The hotel is surrounded by coffee shops, bars, restaurants and grocery shops. Next year I would definitely stay here again.

A very well situated hotel right in the centre of Inverness and just a few minutes walk from the central train station. Surrounding the hotel are plenty of bars, restaurants, and shops which is great and you’re also very close to the bus station for taking trips out of town. The room was basic and a little bit tired (some dents and scratches, frayed carpet) but otherwise was clean and tastefully decorated with basic amenities like a kettle, hair dryer, tea bags, a large TV, so on. We were facing the main road so on Saturday evening it was quite loud but the reception desk provided us with ear plugs upon request which were more than adequate. We would come back to this hotel again next time we’re in Inverness.

Amazing hotel, with beautiful river views. They have parking at 10-12 pounds per day.

Good Location and also have parking lot which suitable for our road trip. This hotel is perfectly situated for exploring Inverness, right in the city centre. It's incredibly convenient, just a short walk from the train and bus stations. There are plenty of restaurants, bars and shops on the doorstep and the beautiful River Ness is just across the road.

Do NOT accept a room facing union street ie main entrance. There are nightclubs and fast food places. The noise until 0300 is unbelievable. Especially friday and saturday. Go riverside ONLY

Location was ideal, view from room was gorgeous, staff were helpful. However, rooms were rather dusty.

Can't leave proper review as made a genuine mistake with booking ...had entered wrong dates....was visiting my dad in hospital so had to rebook another hotel very quickly ,so never got any refund at all not even partial refund so lost all the money paid for hotel and breakfast ...

The hotel is kinda old. No light right outside the door. Unable to check in even slightly earlier as counter only open at 3pm. There are only one white light at the door near toilet, the rest of the lights are yellow dim light. But not the worst to stay in.

Near Inverness train station, beside is Ness river, walk with old buildings style that look nice. A couple of shopping centres nearby, plenty of restaurants for you to choose. Wifi in the room is slow, but at hall consider all right. Breakfast spread is considered good for European style. A heating facility is also available. The room is small but enough for me to stay... solo travel

Ok location but it’s rather noisy from the street on Friday night as the room’s sound isolation is not great
