First visit to Inverness. Dunhallin House is in a quiet neighborhood a short drive from the center of town. Walking distance to a public golf course/driving range plus nice restaurant (Fairways). Owner booked taxis for us and shared restaurant suggestions. He made our dinner reservations once we chose the restaurants. Rooms were great and quiet, our room had two skylights that opened. No elevator but only two floors. Owner carried our luggage to our rooms. Breakfast was great. They accommodated our diets with more than enough choices. I highly recommend Dunhallin House.

Margaret and Sandy were amazing hosts. They were so attentive to our travel needs. The room was comfortable and immaculate and the breakfast was delicious. It was a perfect location for other Highland destinations. We highly recommend a stay here.

Margaret and Sandy are amazing hosts of this large home that was our base for a 2 nights in and around Inverness. We thoroughly enjoyed the 25-minute walk into Inverness, through some lovely neighbourhoods. Breakfast was delicious and filling. Pre-arrival communications were clear and prompt, and the room was great. The Culloden battlefield is only 12-15 minutes away by car, and absolutely worth it. Take good shoes/boots if it’s rainy. The battlefield paths are often wet and muddy, as they would have been back in 1746.

Excellent experience all round. Quiet, comfortable room and bed, outstanding breakfasts. Hosts always available, communicated well, and without intruding were always there to help and advise. Great base from which to explore area. Would definitely stay again.

We stayed at the Dunhallin House for two nights at the beginning of May and loved our stay. It's a charming Bed and Breakfast. The hosts went above and beyond to ensure our stay was wonderful. Located just over a mile from the Inverness city center, which we walked to for dinner. We will definitely look to stay there again if we make it to the Inverness area in the future.

Very nice couple, went out of their way to make you feel welcome. Lovely spacious and immaculate rooms and comfortable bed Lovely good variety of breakfast. Would highly recommend Dunhallin guest house to stay. Thank you Sandy and Margaret Angela and David from Aberdeen

Anybody else can go there for a wee break or even on a business trip to stay there for a few days. Well cooked breakfast that would give you enough to go out for the whole day! For the kind of comfortable guest house in Inverness area, I would recommend you to book in and stay there.

Spent 3 nights with my mum from Germany here. From the warm welcome to checking out - everything was perfect. Sandy and Margaret are the best hosts ever. Any questions we had were answered, nothing was too much trouble. The home from home was in a perfect location, away from the busy city, yet in walking distance (less than 2 miles) from everything Inverness has to offer. The room was spotless, beautifully decorated and comfy. The breakfast selection is out of this world, the croissant with bacon and mushrooms was the best. I can’t wait to visit soon again with my husband to enjoy another perfect break. Thank you Margaret and Sandy for making our time in the Highlands an experience we will treasure for a long time.
